Brisaert stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2008-04-30 and said, "Friendly and helpfull staff. Nice and clean room but the airconditioning is rather noisy."
Anna stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2008-02-03 and said, "This hotel was an excellent stopover hotel. A friend and I flew into the new international airport, but had a morning flight out of don muang so we chose to stay near there. The room was clean and had hot water and air conditioning which was nice. The pick up service didn t work out, but a taxi wasn t as expensive anyway. There was a free shuttle to don muang though. Breakfast was quite good (western style) and free with this booking service. The staff was friendly too. I agree with other commenters that this place was probably much better before the new airport was built, but it served it s purpose just fine."
Christer stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2008-01-10 and said, "The hotel was probably a very nice hotel for ten years ago but it is clean and ok. The staff was friendly and helpful the breakfast ok but not more. I will not stay thera again even then that the price was good."
Zahid stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2007-04-15 and said, "stayed there cos my friend had early morning flight to udonthani from don muang and i had late night flight from new airport and both of us had free transfer to airports that was pleasant surprise. very pleasant staff at reception did not use any other facility. room was very big with a double and single bed for 1600 Baht it was very good value for money in bkk .considering the free transfer also"
Anna stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2007-04-02 and said, "We booked this hotel as it was close to the Airport and offered free transfers to and from both Airports. The Hotel was good value for monely for 1 night as we were flying out the next morning. The rooms are old and not very nice but it was cheap and convinient for one night. I wouldn t stay here for longer than 1 night."
Mr stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2007-03-30 and said, "Functional for the price and served its purpose. Rooms are old but clean. Staff very good. Nothing around in walking distance. Free shuttle service ok."
Patricia stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2007-01-24 and said, "The room was very spacious and nice. The staff were all very lovely and the minibus driver and Pick up host were very very nice. A pleasure. (in my stupidity i did not note this was the old airport and not the new one and the transfer was 45 min but not an unpleasent one)"
Charles stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-12-29 and said, "After we made this reservation the new airport was opened and it was a longer drive to get there than I had expected. However it was a clean, quiet and comfortable hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late and had a very good dinner at the restaurant. The hotel provided transportation to the airport that was a lot better than the taxi drive we had taken to get there."
Cheong stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-09-13 and said, "A nice hotel. Very near to airport, with free transfer from/back to airport. The Breakfast is ok, but for dinner you must eat at there because there is no other place you could go. The dinner quite expensive cost me 500bht"
Mr stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-07-18 and said, "Really close to the airport - right at the end of the runway in fact. Funnily enough, the planes taking off over my head didn t disturb our sleep. There was a deparfture and arrival transfer included, but it took a while to the bus to arrive for the first trabsfer. The hotel is very grotty, but it is also cheap and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were lovely, the breakfast good and no problems with departure transfer. We arrived at 1am and left at 8.30am for our next flight. The hotel certainly has character, and for that reason we would overnight there again, if we had to."
Ryan stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-07-14 and said, "t the Samui airport we found out our flight was delayed 3 hours. I contacted sawadee.com as well as searched the internet (when it was available) to find the contact number, although there were no phones that I could have phoned from - that I could see. When we arrived at the airport there was no one there to pick us up. We had to deal with the hassling taxi drivers and get a price of 300 Baht for a very short trip to the Airport Suites. When I got to the hotel they told us because it was delayed late they couldn t get someone to pick us up and they wouldn t refund us for the taxi. We complained and after a long discussion we asked to speak to the manager who we found out was not available until morning. In the morning we talked to the manager, who again said she could not refund us for the taxi. It wasn t about the money, it was about the hotel service. I told the manager I was going to complain to Sawadee.com. The manager finally said she would give us 200 Baht. After more discussion, as we were leaving, she finally gave us 300 Baht and wrote it off as a taxi receipt for her books. It was a very frustrating experience. When we booked, we needed to be close to the airport as we would arrive late and have to be at the airport early in the morning. We were happy to see the airport transfer and the closeness to the airport and that s why we decided to stay there. When they did not pick us up and didn t try to help us after our inconvenience we were very disappointed. The hotel itself was old but OK for a one night stay."
TANG stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-07-14 and said, "Very close to the international airport, just a few minutes to go there by taxi. But it very close to the airport, there are many noisy from the flight. Anyway, it is a good choice to you if you need to transfer your flight at the next morning."
LTT stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-06-26 and said, "We booked a standard room at the Comfort Suites for one night. We had a one night stopover in Bangkok before our early flight out (6:45am) the next day. The hotel shuttle picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and the hotel is only a 5 min drive away. The rooms are basic and spacious and (continental) breakfast was provided, even at 4am in the morning which was a surprise. If you don’t mind the sound of the occasional aircraft flying above you it’s a good, clean hotel for an overnight transit stop."
R stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-06-22 and said, "Very poor rooms, staff ok"
Naveed stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-06-07 and said, "The room was cheap, tired and simple.Perfect for one night. The restaurant is pretty decent, not too expensive and clean, quick service.Does exactly what is says on the tin. Free airport shuttle every hour, takes about 10/15 minutes. Perfect for one night."
Martin stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-05-30 and said, "The only good thing with this hotel is that it s 15 min from the airport and has a free shuttle service. The rooms are badly worn down and pretty depressing. Obviously, there s also the constantly reccuring noise from aircraft taking off to consider. I recommend choosing another hotel."
Cara stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-05-04 and said, "The room was very spacious, and aircondition was very good. Very basic but fine for staying one night. The pool was a bit dubious. The restaurant was very cheap and pretty tasty."
PAUL stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-04-23 and said, "hotel ok.water faucet was leaking.lower floors better for plane noise.waited 10min.airport for pickup.did not come.took taxi 250baht.went to res.desk my name was there.they said they had other pickup.can,t depend on them."
Lynne stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-04-15 and said, "well, this hotel (or atleast the room I had on 2 different occasion was really quite gross. It smelled terrible and was not a nice room. Also, things like getting on the internet (can only go on once for 15 minutes and it s expensive) are annoying. Location (5 minutes from the airport) is the ONLY reason to stay here."
Lina stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-04-13 and said, "It is ok to stay over only one night, but never more than this. Shuttle bus from hotel was not there as they promised, although they promised us they will do that. And the service attityde in the restaurang was not good enough. the rum is not so clean. I will not recommend other stay there."
Terry stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-31 and said, "Good value for money, staff helpfull and friendly. Only one slight mishap, was one hour waiting at the airport for pick-up. Problem being caused by a severe storm. This is our second stay. Thanks Terry & Sandra"
Caroline stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-30 and said, "Hotel was very close to aiport so was handy since we got in late. Very old so if your looking for for something to serve the purpose than this place is ok. Breakfast was average but I guess you get what you pay for. The shower flooded easily so we had to detach the shower head and wash quickly."
Fazle stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-19 and said, "Hotel is good value for the money. It is convenient and serves its purpose. If you are looking for an inexpensive and basic hotel for an overnight stay after a long-haul flight, it fits the bill. It won t win any design or amenity awards though!."
Tosha stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-12 and said, "Hotel picked us up at the airport at 1:00 a.m. as requested. They have 24 hr room service which was very nice to have after a very long flight. The food came fast and was very good. The room was okay and served it s purpose. Breakfast was included and very good. The next morning the hotel dropped us off at the airport on time."
Lisa stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-11 and said, "The hotel was disappointing. It s no longer a Comfort Suites, also. Very grim, loud (at the end of the runway), the rooms were dusty and a bit grimy. The pickup service was very inconvenient - you had to call to arrange it, which they did not tell us, and then we had to wait while they picked up multiple other passengers. I d pick somewhere (anywhere) else next time. At least it was cheap and included an OK breakfast."
TAM stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-02 and said, "I think I would not book this hotel again. The decoration is quite old and it is too noisy. Since the plane fly over the hotel and can t sleep well. If ypu want to enjoy your trip, I think you should book a better one."
Dallas stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-03-02 and said, "Really couldn t recommend this Hotel to anyone. We didn t sleep at all due to the noise of the aeroplanes that were flying over the top of us every 10 minutes or so all night long. Also the stench is indescribable, one smell covering up the other."
Pamela stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-28 and said, "Not impressed. Would not stay here again. It is dirty and uncared for."
Richard stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-25 and said, "Great Hotel - free shuttle service to/from airport worked well and we had a nice stay. Green Curry at Hotel restaurant is the best! Breakfast fine too. Would use again."
James stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-22 and said, "We stayed 2 nights at comfort suite one on our arrival and one on the last day, we found that it was very handy to get to as they are very close to the airport. The free suttle service to and from was very good. The rooms at comfort suite are basic and dated but ok to get over your flight. The only downs side is that it is quite noisey from the planes taking off as its very close to the airport. The room service is quick 24/7 and not bad either. Staff were friendly and helpful"
Grant stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-21 and said, "Fine for an overnight stay, close to the airport. Free shuttle bus and good breakfast."
Jan stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-12 and said, "A good place to stay at if you have an early flight next morning. Rooms are OK, very good breakfast, good service with pick-up from and to the airport. Some noise from all the planes starting and landing."
K. stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-08 and said, "There s a saying: you get what you pay for . That s definitely true with this hotel. I do not recommend this location unless you want something very basic close to the airport. The lighting in the room was poor."
John stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-02-03 and said, "The hotel and service were good value for the price."
Matthew stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-21 and said, "Hotel was clean and the service was good. Great location next to the airport. Although I believe the airport is moving within this coming year I would recomend for people who are in transit and need a place to crash."
Len stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-18 and said, "Hotel fills need for close to airport, one night stay. Rooms are no frills but are clean, air conditioned and adequate for short stay. Could use a little more lighting in room. An excellent morning buffet is included in room rate, which is reasonable. Evening restaurant meals exceeded my expectatations for this class of hotel - quite good and well presented. Hotel shuttle service to and from airport is also provided at no additional charge."
Bill stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-16 and said, "very accomodating, quiet and reasonably priced, with friendly service."
Johanna stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-12 and said, "This hotel was fine if you are just waiting to fly out to another destination or home. The rooms are huge for the price and the restaurant was good as well. All in all we were satisfied to spend one night there."
Andre stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-11 and said, "Hotel appeared clean but hallways had a foul odor.Pickup/receptiion at the airport was exceptional and a very warm greeting."
Mr.Stan stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-10 and said, "We stayed at the Comfort Inn the night before a very early departure for home. For that purpose, it was a perfect hotel. Good price and excellent location. The accomodations were basic, but spacious and clean. The restaurant was good and not expensive. I wouldn t want to base my operations in Bangkok from this hotel, but for a one or two day layover, it is great. Taxis (use the metered ones only) to downtown Bangkok are only 200 baht or so - a good deal for a quick trip in. All in all, I will use this hotel again when the circumstances require me to be near the airport before a flight."
donald stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-09 and said, "First room was so smelly, we had to change rooms. Next was better, but this hotel definitely needs to be upgraded. The carpeted floors felt dirty and there was mold in the bathroom. The shower curtain had mold growing. NOT a place I would recommend AND it took 20 minutes by shuttle to the airport."
Scott stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-09 and said, "Not bad if for a brief overnight stay. If you have a free afternoon/evening - head back to city areas. Rooms on south side (lower floors if possible) better from airport noise perspective (runway (1km away). Bring a book as only 2 English TV channels."
Linda stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-08 and said, "Perfect location for a quick overnight near the airport. The rooms are not exciting but large and clean and comfortable. I had to wear earplugs to block out the airplane sounds. My husband slept great. The breakfast was plentiful and fine. The best thing was the ease with which we got to and from the airport at no extra cost or worry."
Heather stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2006-01-03 and said, "Obviously very near to the airport which made it the perfect location for our needs. Efficient staff and decent clean room for the night. Breakfast included and was very good. Couldn t ask for more out of an airport hotel."
Steve stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2005-12-20 and said, "Very friendly staff, even for showing up at 2:00 am. The room was big and a little old/sparse, but the basics were great: bed was comfy and clean, bathroom was clean with all amenities, bottles of water provided. Just what we needed for a quick crash before heading back to the airport. The breakfast was really well done and delicious."
Prof.Dr. stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2005-12-11 and said, "For somebody who is leaving BKK very early in the morning, the hotel is useful. There is a good service and the rooms are clean but a little old. Price/quality ratio is good. Very positive: the shuttle service from / to the arrival/departure gate free of charge. I you do not have luxury requests the hotel is OK."
Kevin stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2005-12-10 and said, "We stayed over for 5 hr during a transit. Hotel staff picked us up at the airport although the flight was delayed 1.5 hr. We gave our flight number so they know the delay. Had to waited for ~30min for the van to pickup. You can take TAXI for 100 Bahts. Our NON-smoking smells cigarete, the room is big but not maintained well, looks very old. Internet access at the lobby is overpriced. Breakfast served very early (good for us to catch early flight) and taste good."
Robert stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2005-12-01 and said, "Hotel is good and clean with excellent large rooms, and good food in restaurant. Unfortunately my room was very close to the runway and the noise of aircraft late at night was very intrusive. I had to wear earplugs to stand any chance of sleeping."
Kim stayed at Airport Suite (Don Muang) Bangkok on 2005-11-29 and said, "The hotel was close to airport, a little noisy, nothing special. But worked for me as I was out early for Phuket the next morning."
