Wong stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-06-06 and said, "This hotel is not my first choice since positive comments from review are only 8 out of 10. But since the first choice is fully booked, I booked this one because of the budget. The location of hotel is in the heart of city, and it takes 10 mins walk to nearest BTS (Chit Lom). Taxi drivers often find difficulty in looking for its location since it is at the back of busy streets. You may need to take a name card in the reception which has address in thai and a map for driving direction. The staff at reception can understand and speak English. They are helpful and polite. Apart from providing us information upon our queries, we are given a room when we checked in at 10:00am.My husband and I have stayed in a deluxe twin bedroom on the 7th floor for 3 nights. The room is clean and tidy. We found everything OK except the temperature of water for shower is not steady. We need to turn the temperature a bit down so that the maximum temperature during the fluctuation will not cause scald. We have not encountered the negative comments mentioned in other s review of this hotel (like noisy air conditioning, faulty flushing system of toilet, or having any cockroaches). There is a small fridge with a mini bar and the price is reasonable. The bottles of water are complementary but there is no coffee or tea. Breakfast is in buffet type and it is OK as there are thai and western styles. But thai style has more varieties than western style (only toast, egg, cereal, salad, sausage, orange/ pineapple juice, tea and coffee for western style). It is value for money for a 2 star hotel in 1400Bt/night for a deluxe twin bed room."
Hee stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-05-08 and said, "I ve always stayed in this hotel whenever I travelled to Bangkok. This hotel is value for money in terms of locality : walking distance to Erawan 4-Face God, Central World, Big-C, Siam Paragon, Platinum and Pratunam shopping belt. Though it s only a 2-3 stars hotel, they provided clean room and breakfast."
Dr. stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-04-25 and said, "Bangkok City Inn is a nice, clean hotel with very friendly F/O staff. Recognizing me as a repeat guest was great (I stay here 1-2 times every month)!! Location is excellent, very close to my favorite mall, Central World and also to shopping districts with special mention to reasonable but great massage areas in pratunam district. Though staying at a prime location, one would manage to sleep and rest well as it is a few steps away from the hustle and bustle of Rajadamri road s cars, buses and motorcycles. I have been an avid fan of this hotel for the type of service and price as I always wanted to get the best of my money s worth. I would definitely recommmend this hotel to those who want to visit bangkok. The best so far for its price and quality of service."
Bob stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-04-23 and said, "Hotel is centrally located in Pratunam, very near to BIG C & Pantip plaza.Hotel is not guest freindly they make you pay extra fro bringing in guest even for a short period that is 30 mins.So would not recommend this hotel for singles and no good places to pick women around only annoying tuk tuk (Autoricksaw)wanting to take u to massage parlours around.all around hotel location is great to stay with a family.Breakfast is Ok.Dont expect too much."
Low stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-04-18 and said, "I am a returning guest and I should say I have a very pleasant stay at BCI. The hotel is so near Patunam Centre and the Big C. Foodstall are within walking distance. Lots of massage and foot reflexogy shop are within reach to soothe your tired leg.On the day I checked in the shower tap was not functioning properly but after one call their technician came and had it fixed within 15 mins. The hotel reception staff are very courteous and friendly. As I was on an early 7.20am flight and have to checkout at 6 am, I requested to have my breakfast much earlier before their usual opening time which they promptly provided. I will definitely return to this hotel if I have another trip to BKK next year."
Abu stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-03-27 and said, "I am satisfied with the hotels service. I plan to stay again in this hotel, in case I need to return to Bangkok some time in future."
bin stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-03-22 and said, "A neat place just off the big rajdamri road(rather quiet) with many shopping malls as well hundreds of stalls and small shops. the sidewalks can be very crowded with people, so one cannot walk in haste. staff was efficient and friendly, breakfast adequate. room was nice but sound coming from next door toilet flush was quite annoying.within walking distance to skytrain station. value for money."
YE stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-02-19 and said, "Very disappointed, the room is dirty, and washing room has a bad smell, only one thing is acceptable-location: it is really near the BIG C and Central World, Zen, 5 minutes walking. Will not choose it again."
HUANG stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-02-16 and said, "Good place to shopping. Very near to Big C, ISTAN and World Centre. And breakfast is ok."

Jessica stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2008-01-05 and said, "We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nice rooms, lovely and helpful staff, but the breakfast could have been better! Very good location with walkingdistance to good shopping - Big C, Platinum, Pratunam and more. Dont forget to take a walk in the evening and visit Baiyoke Sky hotel for a wonderful view on the 83rd floor! Will book this hotel again!"
BETTES stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-12-04 and said, "Hotel très simple mais très bien situé à proximité du world trade center et de Pratunam. Bon marché, bon rapport qualité prix. Personnel très acceuillant."
Prince stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-11-23 and said, "Staff at reception was courteous and polite. Not all hotel staff spoke English but between themselves they managed very well. Room was clean, provided with fresh towels, sheets and bathroom was adequate. Mattress was firm/hard, could be better. The mini bar was well stocked but prices were double then market value. Complimentary breakfast had variety. Hotel location was walking distance from shopping area. Overall the hotel is good value for money and service satifactory."
TR stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-11-14 and said, "nice and pleasant tourist class. very affordable. no frills but acceptable and clean rooms. there are a few massage places just close by too if you are into it. lots of good cheap local food and right smack in the shopping areas. an excellent choice, but finding it the first time might be a little tricky. don t rely on the maps they give you on the internet, they are way off scale."
Nicola stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-10-29 and said, "Un buon hootel pulito, buono per lo shooping anche notturno.prima collazione nella norma"

Patricia stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-08-04 and said, "Clean & small hotel, good location. friendly & helpful receptionest, value of money, within walking distance to major shopping malls.Bad house keeping, our room was NOT clean up even in the evening, need report to reception & chase them."
Baoning stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-08-02 and said, "The location is good. The room is small. We add a bed for 400B, but can t get the free breakfast."
Magnus stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-06-12 and said, "Very good value for money hotel in central BKK. Location excellent with walking distance to many shopping malls and restaurants. My first choice when staying a couple of days in BKK."
Heng stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-03-21 and said, "A very conveniently, centrally-located hotel. Very good value for the price paid for a hotel room. Wonderful 7-day-a-week room service. Satisfactory daily breakfast. Very pleasant, friendly, helpful counter staff. Looking forward to another stay at the hotel soon."
Gappmayers stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-03-21 and said, "We stayed in a deluxe room one night. For the money, it was great with a good bed and a few english channels. The room smelled very strongly upon entering but it didn t last long once you were in the room. The breakfast was good. The location was fine but taxis have a hard time finding it. From the airport was great but take a card with you to show the driver after that. WE wanted to stay another night but they were booked so we checked into the Bangkok Inn that was not nearly as nice and almost the same amount of money. The massage place next to the Bangkok Inn is great though and very popular."
Tam stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2007-03-10 and said, "Bangkok city InnAlthough da room is not pretty gd , it s so convenient n cheap ."
Linda stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2006-07-15 and said, "Small hotel tuck away from the main road. Great location though - walking distance to a good number of places. Can forget about hotel services & food. Good for overnigt/budget stay."
James stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2005-10-16 and said, "Value for money, did not expect too much on the service for the amount paid, but reasonably clean room and bath room facilities. Hotel location is great! you can find anything within walking distance."
Daniel stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2005-08-07 and said, "Not Very Impressed, looks nice when you arrive, clean reception area, shame our room was so grubby, the ceiling was supposed to be white but it was covered in black mould, the carpet in the suit was dirty. Also tried ordering room service, they could not understand English so I went down to the resturant to get it myself, and they insisted on charging me room service even though I had to get it myself. I Will Not Be Back"
Don stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2005-03-01 and said, "Hotel was well located for shopping, markets, etc., but a little inconvenient for the Grand Palace, etc. Still, good value for money, attractive rooms, good service staff, located in a quite soi."
David stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2004-11-24 and said, "Hotel was alright given the rate paid as we don t expect 4 star service but at least a complain is about the staff who doesn t seem to provide adequate simple service, like asking for simple hot water every day from their coffeeshop --as I was travelling with 3 children--, not forgetting that I only found 1 or 2 staff among the whoe crew that could speak some decent English... Perhaps Thai Hotels shld look seriously into improving their HR skills such as simple foreign language.I travel to many countries in the region but at least in other neighboring countries, one could find local staff speaking some decent English but not quite in Thailand, even in 4 or 5 stars hotels..."
Toh stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2004-11-10 and said, "The hotel room is clean but small. There s no writing materials and tissue papers. The staffs are friendly but not informative."
Norman stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2004-08-26 and said, "Thanks for the opportunity to make my comments.I stayed 4 nights at this convenient location, right in the City, next to Big C and opposite the World Trade Center. The adventurers can even take a river taxi, literally a stones throw away, only do it off peak times. The receptionist were not very friendly, did not see the smiles I was so accustomed to in other Hotels I stayed in BKK.Did not realise I could not smoke in the Lobby and was guided unceremonsly to the door. Signs was not put up. Only no smoking signs in the restaurant. My flight was at 6pm. Check-out time is as in most Hotels 12 noon. I asked for an extension to 2 pm and after debate was given 1/2 hr. grace. Normally the reception will check the Bookings and if not busy will agree. No compromise and no offer of , say, we can look after your bags till you are ready to depart. Somehow I feel the Reception needs training and does not give me the impression that they are doing me a favour by allowing me to stay in BKK City INN.Breakfast well below par.Locality I emphasise is real good, but The Land of Smiles is not there.Yes, , they do not have Tourist maps. I cannot understand this. The Thai Tourism is so generous with these maps at other hotels.Reg. Norman WEE stayed 26th. to 30 th. Aug 04"
Dr stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2004-03-24 and said, "A very convenient location,a clean and comfortable a comfortable hotel. I was completely at home. Staff were very friendly and I would certaibnly like to stay for my next visit."
Garry stayed at Bangkok City Inn on 2004-01-15 and said, "pleasant hotel with a great location"
