Michael stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2007-12-04 and said, "Great Business deluxe room at a reasonable cost. Would be great if more locate events and local breakfast are available for foreign guest to enjoy the local delights.Due to location of hotel some YOU ARE HERE guide on getting around would be useful."
Peony stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2007-03-17 and said, "Very good location, not close to central downtown, but walk only 3 mins to the MRT. And although the furniture are old, the room is very clean and fresh. The customer service is good as well. Moreover if you want to practise in their golf driving range, don t forget to bring your own club."
Ms. stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2006-05-24 and said, "Second time I have stayed there ,family do all the time! Was on 8th floor last time 14th, 14th seemed to have more comforable beds and digital safe instead of key. Very comfortable, used the MRT to Sukhumvit to connect with Skytain at Asoke to Siam, very quick clean and cheap. Only 150 baht and 20min in taxi to Airport, staff friendly, getting hard to get bookings!Delcious cheap cocktails.Great massages on 3rd floor across courtyard, will try Spa on 4th floor next time. My friends went to Nightclub next door and said it was good. Overall, little out of the way but easy to get public transport,Good value for $$$. Will stay again."
Tom stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2005-03-26 and said, "I ve stayed at this hotel more than half a dozen times or so now: I ve stayed at few others while in Bangkok, but for this price range, I haven t found any better ones. Location is fairly close to the airport, but if your shopping for Thai jewelry, it s far from Silom district. For me it s convenient because, usually my itinery calls for stay in Bangkok upon arrival and departure only. The staff is professional, most speak English and are helpful. Rooms are average size, chair and tables are nice but TV cabinet is rather gaudy looking. Bathrooms are all marble, include hair dryer and towel sets include hand towels, which is not always the case in Thailand. Breakfast included but bacons are half cooked which seems to be the case with all hotels in Thailand. Overall, I would recommnend this hotel to a friend without hesitation, especially if he s on a budget."
Louis stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2004-11-21 and said, "This hotel is a first class hotel. The place is beautiful. The in house restaurants (japanese, chinese, & thai)serve delicious up scaled meals for a reasonable price. The Staff is very professional. The rooms are beautiful marble. The only drawback is the location. YOu have to take the taxi to everywhere you wish to go. There s nothing interesting within walking distance of the hotel. And even by taxi, there is only a shopping mall. So it is located outside the main bankok district and little to do in the immediate area. Personally, I rather walk to my destination and have some interesting places nearby. But as for the hotel itself, I highly rate it as a place to stay!"
Dr.S. stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2004-11-02 and said, "The room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was among the best we ever had in BKK in terms of quality and variety. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and a variety of Thai dishes. If it weren’t because of the noise from the band by the pool that kept us up until 2:00 A.M. the last two nights we were there, we would probably consider going back and stay there again. Apparently, there was a wedding celebration going on each of the last two nights of our stay. The party was outside on the hotel balcony and by the pool. The noise from the band was so loud that it vibrated our windows and bed so violently that we thought they would break down into pieces. (Mind you that we were up on the 11th floor and the party was on the 2nd floor). Our complaints to the front desk did not get the issue resolved, although the front desk staff was polite and sympathetic to our cause. As a result, our check out evaluation was candid. Yesterday we received a response from the hotel general manager in the mail, who said that he was sorry for the unpleasant experience and stated that he would address the issue. He invited us back, saying that we would have a better experience the next time. We will have to think very long and hard about that invitation."
Craig stayed at Chaophya Park Hotel on 2004-10-13 and said, "Excellent value for money. Location temps taxi drivers and tuk tuk sharks alike to attempt to add 600 baht to a normal fare, but it s three minutes from Ratchadapisek MRT station and relatively quick from there into the city centre - and free of traffic jams and fumes ! Go for an east-facing room, the olive green canal on the west side is not a pretty sight. Breakfast good, good variety of Asian and European dishes. This is a hotel I would (and already have) use again."
