John said, "I always stay at this hotel when leaving BKK. I enjoy the hotel and the area around the hotel. Very convenient to MTR and the Ladproe mall"

Mr said, "Have its good hotel with clean room and great breakfast. Very handy location for us who know the city well, but might be a bit far out from the centre for many (originally was good for the Airport but of course now its far from the new one)."

Mary said, "The hotel has all the 5 stars facilities and the breakfast is good. The location link to a Central Plaza shopping mall and close to chatuchak and there is transfer from hotel to Central Chidlom. Basically we choose this hotel as we are on business trip and there is less traffic jam issue."

Clyde said, "Great services incl. variety of restaurants. However, reception staff were cool and uninterested. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The location was close to the subway but too close to the freeway and there was no view, other than the traffic, from our room. The phone and internet services were very expensive. The room was average and clean. The shopping centre next door had an excellent Thai massage parlour. Would stay there again; rate it 3 out of 5."

Nalinthone said, "The hotel was beautiful and the people were very friendly and helpful. However, the 2 suites we our floor was supposed to be a non-smoking floor. Our room had a sort of moldy smell. It wasn t very pleasant. Other than that, the location of the hotel was EXCELLENT, right next to a HUGE shopping mall."

Mary said, "I was dissappointed that I had made my reservations 2 months ahead and when we arrived around 4:00 p.m., we were told we had to wait 45 minutes for a room to become available. This caused us to miss our schedule for the evening. The room on this date was what we had requested and very clean."

Mary said, "I requested a king size bed and we were assigned a room with 2 single beds. The shower rack fell on me when I was getting out of the shower and we had to put it back up. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable."

RICHARD said, "Although the booking was for 2 people the allocated room was only for one person ..two towels, one dressing gown , 2 pillows etc . The room was very tatty and the hotel has absolutely no personal touch or appeal .It has a few things going for it and that is the position near the current airport, it is adjacent to a major shopping mall but if you are in BKK for more than a day there are far nicer hotels down town"

GARY said, "Handy for stop over and decent shopping arcade adjoining.Rooms are better than the sister hotel Novotel Lotus Hotel in Bangkok which had the most uncomfortable beds ever"

Glenni said, "The hotel was very nice and the staff very friendly and helpfull. The hotel was close to the airport and the skytrain. We had a room close to the elivators wich were very noisy ."

Frances said, "This is a very beautiful hotel. Everything you could possibly want. Excellent buffet breakfast & wonderful pool area. We did feel it was too far from downtown areas, whilst underground close just too much hassel. Pity!"

David said, "The hotel itself (both room and services) is very nice. However, I may not stay there again mainly due to its difficult location. My last trip was mainly to visit the Chatuchak Market. Although the hotel has free shuttle service to go to the market, you will need to take a taxi back to the hotel. It took the shuttle about 5 mins to get to the market in the morning, but took me 40 mins taxi to go back to the hotel due to HEAVY TRAFFIC on Saturday night (6:00pm)! Since the hotel is right next to Central Plaza where a lot of people hang out during the weekend, traffic in that area is unbelievably jammed! Also, Skytrain station is not within walking distance. You can either take the shuttle bus (very infrequent schedule) or a taxi to get there. Next time, I would prefer to stay with a hotel that is very close to the skytrain station. With the traffic they have in Bangkok, skytrain is the best choice of transportation for tourist like me."

MRS said, "Sofitel Central Plaza is a very comfortable hotel,expecially if you are planning to visit the famous Chatuchak Market.It is 5 min from the Hotel and the Hotel organizes free shuttle bus to reach the market.All the staff is very friendly.There is an Italian Restaurant inside DON GIOVANNI , simply unique.I had one of best dinner of my life, GREAT CUISINE!!!Not far from the Airport and easy acess to Skytrain and Subway to reach downtown."
