Debbie stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-07-01 and said, "Great location, close to lots of the famous temples and just a stone s throw from the Chao Phraya and Khao San Road, but not easy to find even with a map printed in Thai. Downsides were the abundance of annoying taxi and tuk tuk touts, and the very plainly furnished room, which felt more like someone s flat instead of a hotel. (oh, and I found the list of items provided in the room along with their price - I assume to deter pilferage - sort of jarring)"
Mary stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-06-09 and said, "Arrived at hotel which is down an side street. Receptionist was rude, went to rooms, which were basic, not the cleanest. during our stay asked the receptionist about several tours and directions to Grand Palace, was of no help, was a struggle to get her to book a tour for us. No maps to get to any of the attractions. breakfast was the worst breakfast i have ever laid eyes on in a hotel. The fruit was hot and tasteless, no cereals, cold scrambled eggs, only choice was toast.i would not recommend this hotel to anyone, that fact that it is down a side street made it unsafe at night. Staff rude, food bad and rooms basic and not very clean. Go somewhere else."
Manfred stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-06-08 and said, "Very good located in the heart of the old Bangkok . Many attractions in walking distance (Grand Palace, Wat Pho , Khaosan Road,...).We had the deluxr room and had nothing to complain about, besides: after one day there was no more cold (! yeah right cold) water anymore. Only the hot water worked...usually the opposite happens...Breakfast was good. The selection wasn t to big...(fruits, eggs , sausages , ham or bacon and french toast,...) but everything was fresh and tasty. As promoted at sawadee, there was someine fro the staff at the reception desk 24/7, saftey boxes at the reception and internet. If you are looking for a place to stay in Bangkok which is clean, central and worth the money, this is a good choice."
Stephen stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-04-26 and said, "Pleasant though plain room. Room did not have a fridge, safety deposit boxes at reception. Breakfast was basic, though certainly adequate. 10/15 mins walk from Khoasan Road. Thought the room was expensive for what it was - but maybe the Khoasan road area draws a premium. Would stay again, but not at those prices."
Trishna stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-04-08 and said, "Loved the hotel, very convinient to shopping places, just a little far from the airport.Friendly staffs and very well kept hotel. Top on cleaniness.Would love to be back here again. Thanks for a wonderful service and a great stay."
Audrey stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-03-27 and said, "Service is OK. The room is relatively spacious and clean. It is located in a dark quiet alley and is not recommended for females travelling alone."
Pierluigi stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-03-16 and said, "Nice hotel, clean with friendly people. Breakfast is simple but enough and good, made for asian and european taste (if you are looking for a rich buffet, is not your place!!). Room are clean and comfortable. Not far away from Khao San Road (max 10mins walk). Very easy to find taxi or tuk-tuk outside."
Peter stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-03-10 and said, "The hotel is ok,but the breakfast is nearly non existing. So if u stay here go and eat some there else."
Quentin stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-03-02 and said, "Clean and nice hotel close to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, pretty quiet areaIt s quite far from Silom and the nightlife hotspots so expect long taxi rides if you re into that scene"
Bianka stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-16 and said, "sehr sauberes Hotel.sehr gute Lage zu allen Sehenswuerdigkeiten.Gutes Preis - Leistungsverhaeltnis"
guy stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-14 and said, "DO NOT be impatient and DO NOT complain if the internet service turns to ba a racket, because for the rest, they are the best... You can complain and show that you are not happy, they know that at the end of the stay, they will be judged as the very BEST...Not to mention that the rooms are PERFECT, (clear, silent) and if the location is important for you... again thay are the BEST. Take a map and compare with others... Keep that secret, because the prices are affordable."
Jan stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-12 and said, "Very good location, close to the Royal Palace. Clean, quiet place, worth the money we paid.Notatka dla rodakow: hotel godny polecenia, tani, czysty i spokojny, blisko najwazniejszych zabytkow"
Mel stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-11 and said, "This is our third stay at the Boonsiri - a lovely boutique hotel located very near Khao San Rd.,the Royal Palace, and numerous wats. The hotel is extremely clean, the staff are helpful, and the breakfast is good. Booking online (siameservices.com)gives you cheaper rates. In our opinion, a great place to stay."
Sarah stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-11 and said, "Very clean, semi-posh hotel which was a welcome respite after a long flight.Very helpful staff and e mail in the foyer. Not a great place if you are looking to meet other travellers, and its a gritty neighbourhood, but its 10 min walk to the grand palace,10 min to Kao San Road woud definately return if I wanted to spend that kind of money again."
Peter stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-09 and said, "Nice place. Clean rooms. Very good location. Friendly, helpful staff. No refrigerator in the room. You should carry the card with the map of the hotel along with you. Taxi drivers usually do not know the hotel."

Kristy stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-02 and said, "Within walking distance to many tourist atractions (Palace, Wat s, markets, khao san Road) and near airport bus and river ferry. Basic and very clean room. 5 floors with elevator and air con. Email a bit expensive. Can be a little noisy with school at the back, local traffic and chatter from street stalls. No fridge in standard rooms. Standard continental breakfast included."
Hanne stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-02-02 and said, "Close to the Great Old Palace. Picked up in airport against payment. Nice in a big city like Bangkok.VERY slowly driving computers and no serviceminded staff in the reception."
Richard stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-01-24 and said, "Very clean, comfortable rooms. Pleasant staff - very good."
Tanya stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-01-19 and said, "Fantastic, nice and close to everything we needed, we were only in Bangkok for one night so easy access to everything was important. The rooms were comfortable, nice and clean and tidy and the staff were helpful and friendly, would definately stay here again or recommend to friends."
Gill stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-01-17 and said, "The hotel was very well situated near the Grand Palace and older parts of town. It was immaculately clean and attractively furnished. No frills like a pool but perfectly adequate and we d use it again."
Nadine stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-01-09 and said, "Nice hotel, clean rooms."
Anton stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2008-01-02 and said, "Hotel Clean & Tidy with spacious rooms. Breakfast pretty basic - not as good as what we had on the Islands. Location good. 10min walk to Koa San Road and Grand Palace. Used Tuk Tuk to get to other shopping centres - cost Appr.Baht150 one way. 2hrs taxi drive from Floating Market at cost Baht2000 return. Staff efficient but not overly friendly. Dissapointed with Bangkok and would rather have spent the extra time on one of the Island Resorts. Hotel appr. 1hr away from new airport."
correen stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-12-28 and said, "Hotel is nice and clean and the staff very very helpful, i feel we were looked after which is important as we were a group of three girls. The location is slightly downtown but is only ten maybe twenty minutes walk from Khoa San Rd."
John stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-12-17 and said, "The hotel is decent, not worth the money though. I suppose you re paying for the location, but it is still expensive compared to Thai standards. The breakfast is okay, a little weird. The hotel and rooms are clean. Our experience of the staff was that they were standoffish, but that could have had something to do with the language barrier/miscommunication. Very good location, I would consider staying there again if I ever went back to Bangkok."
M&R stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-12-15 and said, "Location was convenient for walking to Grand Palace, Reclining Buddha and Khoa San Road. The room was fine although did smell like mildew when we first arrived. We were able to air it out mostly. Breakfast was good."
Andrew stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-11-15 and said, "I would recommend on the 5th floor mind you. take room not on street. nice and clean for $50. three or four blocks from Koa Sahn road so it s nice to be a little away."
PETROVA stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-11-07 and said, "hotel was normal, with condition, but without refrigerator and safe...and better book in internet, cuz in hotel price much more..."
Yun stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-11-03 and said, "Not as good as I have expected. Breakfast is simple. This hotel is more like a guest house."
Angie stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-10-25 and said, "We booked the cheapest room and it was great. Very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. New bathroom. No separate shower (whole bathroom gets wet when you shower), but that didn t bother me, as this is common in Asia. I think the more expensive rooms have the separate shower though. Free 2 bottles of water each day. Breakfast buffet was amazing and consists of eggs, fruit, toast, french toast, etc. Location isn t bad either. A few minutes walk to Khao San. There are cheaper options to be had, but not as comfortable as this. The only complaint is that they only had about 10 TV channels and only 2 were English. For this price I would expect better TV service."
Aaron stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-10-12 and said, "Boonsiri Place is a really nice, clean, and friendly hotel which is about a 10 minute walk from Khaosan and actually closer to the emerald and reclining Buddha sites (Wat Po, etc). The staff was very friendly, the rooms were much cleaner and nicer than the other hotels we stayed in in Bangkok (new world and viengtai) and the price was very reasonable (about 1000 baht/night at the time). My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by this hotel. highly recommended!"
Romero stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-09-24 and said, "L hotel est conforme a sa description. Chambre spacieuse, propre meme si la douche est ouverte sur le reste de la salle de bain/wc. Le personnel est serviable, le sourire en moins. Le petit dejeuner est correct, sans plus.Bien situe : entre Khao San Road et les temples.Info pratique : prenez le bus 15 ou 79 si vous voulez vous rendre au siam center depuis l avenue principale parallele a khao san en direction du democraty monument."
hancart stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-09-01 and said, "Realy great hotel, great room, very very very clean and friendly people... only commemt do not take the taxi of the hotel because that is a rip off... but the hotel was great... best hotel i had in thailand!!!!"
Mango stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-08-31 and said, "Boonsiri Place is a good place to stay in Bangkok. The Hotel is in the right place to see the best monuments in the city and near Kaosan Road that is good for dinner, cheap shops and night. The hotel is nice and cheap. The only problem is that is far from skytrain if you want to go to see markets or the shukunvit area. If you are planning to go for the firt time in Bangkok this is a good choise."
Nick stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-08-24 and said, "We really enjoyed staying at the Boonsiri Place Hotel. The hotel and rooms were modern and clean- generally quite hard to find in the old part of the city! The bed was really big and the room had a tv and plenty of space. Staff were polite and helpful although some of them didn t speak very good english. The breakfast which was included in the cost of the room was also nice. Overall really good value and quite luxurious. The location of the hotel is also really good because its in a quieter area but only a few minutes walk from the Khao San Road. The only negatives are that you have to cross a very busy 8 lane road to get from the hotel to the Khao San, but this isn t a problem, as there s a crossing. Also, some taxi drivers didn t know where it was, but there are maps in the hotel which you can take."
Aäron stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-08-13 and said, "We had a plesant stay at Boonsiri. Near Koa San Road en all the great tourist attractions like grand palace , wat po, wat arun ect ect.Big room comfi bed and airco. Good enough for our 5 nights in Bangkok"
Ari stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-08-12 and said, "Good location, about 5 mins from Khaosan road , well kept and clean hotel room. I can recommend, however this was very short stay to catch Lomprayah transportation early in the morning."
Carles stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-08-07 and said, "We stayed in one standard room. The best are the good quality rooms for the price payed. The worst is the poor breakfast and toilets without tube.Good loaction near the Grand Palace and Kao San Road, but the neighbourhood is quiet ugly."
BELINDA stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-28 and said, "Great location in terms of being close to Khao san Rd. An honest 5-7min walk, alot shorter than what most people claim! It s nice to be away from the crowds, yet still so close. Hotel is clean, speaks english, nice, definite value for $. Breakfast is ok. American style eggs and sausage, or sandwiches, or just cereal. But it does the job of filling you for one meal. Honestly no complaints. Great experience. Highly recommended."
Simon stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-28 and said, "The Hotel Was good, much better to other places I ve been on kaosan, would recomand it, but i e heard people telling me you ll better stay in rooms at least on the 3rd or 4th floor in order not to have too much noise. Will probably go back to this hotels for my next trip in thailand."
Jan stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-22 and said, "We found the Swiss Park Hotel in Bangkok was very clean and spacious rooms, centrally located by the sky train, with a very good breakfast buffet included and friendly helpful staff, good value for the price"
Mei stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-17 and said, "Boonsiri Place is in the middle of the Old Quarter so although close to all the temples and Grand Palace, it is also right amidst all the street vendor stalls and people sleeping by the side of the ride even in the middle of the day. It s close to Khao San road where all the backpacking hostels are too (and apparently many restaurants). Good area if you want to try lots of street foods. We originally booked the Superior room but found it very small and the bathroom had a shower built into the wall with no separation from the rest of the bathroom, and no fridge. So, we switched to the Deluxe room on the fifth floor which was much bigger, had a bathtub and shower, as well as a fridge. BIG PROBLEM with Boonsiri - VERY LOUD political propaganda being broadcast from noon all the way to 11pm every day from very nearby. If your room is facing the road like ours was, you will find this very annoying and you will not be able to block it out even with earplugs. Overall, good price but neighbourhood not the best for us (unless you really like being in the nitty gritty part of town). Next time in Bangkok we will stay in a bigger chain on Sukhumvit road which is closer to shops and the newer parts of town!"
ALBANO stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-16 and said, "Nice hotel very close to the historical sites either Khaosan Road.Maybe the shower system could be improved.Very kind staff too."
Margarita stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-14 and said, "Good location (very quiet and at the same time close to Khaosan road), nice rooms, but very very poor breakfast. Later I stayed at the hotel of the same level with swimming pool but much more cheaper."
Elizabeth stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-07-11 and said, "The hotel is really beautiful in terms of brand new bedrooms with tasteful furnishings and lovely clean, modern bathrooms. It is also in a perfect location 10 minutes walk from Khosan Road. The only complaint we had during our 4 days stay was the shambolic breakfast system. On one occassion we waited 45 minutes for a bowl of cornflakes and in the end we just walked out without receiving them. I don t think we had one breakfast where all 4 of us where served at the same time with the correct order. I suppose the fact that the main waitress couldn t understand a word of English didn t help but you d have thought the tick box selection system would overcome any language barriers! Big improvements needed in this area but other than that a great hotel - one of the nicest we stayed in during our 5 month trip."
Jean stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-06-19 and said, "Lovely hotel. Only 10 mins from Kohsan Rd(most of which is spent waiting at pedestrian crossing!!). Very clean, good breakfast. Only complaint was one of the receptionists had a bi of an attitude problem. Quite rude and seemed to think she was doing you a massive favour by speaking to you. The opposite of every other Thai person I ve met. All the other staff are lovely though."
Mr stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-04-29 and said, "Second stay at this hotel this month but got room on lower floor so street noise was slightly higher. I would recommend getting a room higher up next time. The room we had in Boonsiri was better than the tired one we had in Viengtai Hotel before, although the hotel was more basic. I would come back to Boonsiri when I next come back to Bangkok."
Klaus stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-04-20 and said, "Well located, friendly, clean and practical. I would return."
Tyler stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-04-14 and said, "Very nice and clean. Area seems a bit shady at night, but maybe everywhere is in Bangkok... I only had one night there. Get the hotel to write directions and address in large writing on a piece of paper, in Thai if you are going out and plan to take a taxi/tuk tuk back. The cards they give you have Thai, but the writing is too small for drivers to read, especially at night."
Melissa stayed at Boonsiri Place on 2007-04-13 and said, "This a great hotel. I booked a deluxe room with 2 twin bed and it was quite large and exceptionally clean. The staff was great and very helpful with directions. It is within 5 minutes of Khao San Road and 10 minutes to all of the Wats. Breakfast was quick and easy with only 2 choices between a traditional Thai breakfast and an American breakfast, but it was great none the less. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it to others."
