Rossi stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-07-06 and said, "Excellent hotel. GR8 food, excellent service, nice pool.Minuses: Very expensive, if you eat or drink at the htl. Room air not completely fresh.Shuttle to skytrain st very handy and feels luxurious to wipe urself with a fresh towel on a boat, after a hard days shopping in town. Small minus: staff was constantly asking for written feedback but did not have too much coordination about our needs, resulting in asking for more coffee 4 times in a row in 10 minutes. Would recommend and come back again."
Mohammed stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-06-20 and said, "THE HOTEL IS MARVELOUS, THE VIEW IS FANTASTIC,THE STAFF IS HELPFUL, THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT AND DEFINETALY WHENEVER I GO BACK TO BANGKOK I WILL STAY IN MARRIOT RESORT AND SPA"
MEGAN stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-06-19 and said, "What an excellent place to stay! Friendly staff, immaculate facilities, good sized rooms, huge pool, lovely balconies so you can sit outside and watch the action on the river. Most hotels in Bangkok are like office towers with no opening windows or balconies so the Marriott is special in this regard. The restaurants/bars are superb. The health spa was excellent although had spa prices. Make sure you book a river view room as the balconies are a good size and the view out over the pool to the river is so relaxing. I highly recommend this resort - even though it is on the other side of the river from the shopping and temples, it makes up for that in luxury and space. And the ferry/skytrain makes it very easy to get around and a nice way to see Bangkok. We have stayed at the Marriott twice and each time it was excellent."
Dan stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-06-16 and said, "It s always a pleasure to stay at the Marriott in Bangkok. You can t find a similar atmosphere in another Hotel in this area. Very kind staff, good facilities."
Wayne stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-06-07 and said, "5 Star all the way. Staff very helpfull. Beautifully appointed hotel"
Ivana stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-05-25 and said, "Super Hotel freundliches Persol, sehr sauber, Preis/Leistung stimmt, kann es nur empfehlen."
Bernt stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-04-12 and said, "Third time stay, exellent hotel even with children. Will stay again next time in Bangkok."
Bernt stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-04-11 and said, "Third time at The Marriot R&S. Always the best service. Cannot find any complains, only good memories(Traders Vic s might adjust their wine celler 4 degrees down to 17 deg C. but that is a minor thing). The breakfast is fantastic, people friendly and the pool is open until late. Also a great place for kids."
Jillian stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-04-09 and said, "Absolutely the best hotel in Bangkok. Having just spent 3 nights there I would most definitely recommend this hotel for many reasons. The service is excellent; it s location by the river and it s free shuttle boat service to Centre Pier which gives immediate access to the Tourist Boat and to the BTS Skytrain is brilliant. Breakfasts are to die for and the swimming pool area is breathtaking. We enjoyed a deluxe double room with river view. Don t hesitate - book it if you re planning on visiting Bangkok."
Anne stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-03-23 and said, "The hotel was very pleasant and the people lovely, nothing was too much trouble for them. I enjoyed the pool area, the Spa experience and dinner on the river was a bonus. Would be happy to visit again"
Heidi stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2008-02-11 and said, "nice spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and an outstanding pool and garden area. the hotel s ferry service to the skytrain station makes transport to the main shopping aereas easy."
Patrizia stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-11-30 and said, "My comments on this hotel (my preferred since 5 years) are always the same: great location, great food, great staff, great pool and great coffee at Numero Uno. If I am in Bangkok, I just stay at Marriott Resort & Spa."
Michael stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-10-19 and said, "The Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa is truly amazing. Away from the noise of the city on the banks of the river but the city itself is easily reachable with a complimentary shuttle boat every 15 mins takes you to the skytrain which is easy and very cheap under £1 for 2 of us to get to the main shopping area. The hotel grounds are massive and plenty of bars and restaurants in there a bit pricey but worth it all the same. I recommend this hotel very much and when i go back to Bangkok will be going back there"
Olianne stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-09-26 and said, "Wery good choise if you bring children to stay in Bangkok. We had a nice stay at Marriott, and feelt there was a wonderful service. The room was a big jr.suite in the corner with wery good standard. Big balcony around, you cold look at the river and relax. Quiet place. Our two children (1,5 and 3,5 years) liked it because of playroom and nice swimmingpool. Good restaurants, -the best choise of breakfast we have seen in Thailand! If you think about enjoy dinner at the river boats, -be aware you have to order at hotel wery early. This hotel is absolutley recomended. We come back next time in Bangkok."
Brian stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-09-08 and said, "Beatiful hotel. A remote paradise in the middle of a bustling city. Simply excellent"
Brenton stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-05-25 and said, "A very enjoyable stay. Staff were excellent even with Tea, Coffee & Juice to the room after a very early morning wake up call to get flight home. Excellent facilities within the Hotel Grounds. The shuttle boat to and from the other side was excellent and the cool hand towells and chilled water were greatly appreciated after hot days out. Breakfast was first class and even allowed early entry when going on tours. Staff allowed us to go in at 5.40am when breakfast did not officially start until 6.00am. Very conviently located shopps across from Lobby with Sizler, Macca s, KFC and Pizza Shop if you want Western style food. Will definitely stay again when back in Bangkok."
Paul stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-05-23 and said, "Good facilities and efficient staff. Would recommend for a relaxation break but a little far from the centre of town and not really suitable for sightseeing tourists."
Jessica stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-05-10 and said, "I think I managed to find the best hotel to stay at for the short time that we had in Bangkok. Great location, free boat to sky train & river boat transport (100baht for whole day unlimited travel on river boat) made our time for sightseeing & shopping easy, especially the cold towels & drink provided on the boat at the end of the day. The Marriot is a beautiful hotel, our room was very comfortable & clean. The only small problem we had was the price of a Singha Beer in the Elephant Bar $$$?? Aside from that, an enjoyable lovely stay. Thankyou."
Nina stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-04-09 and said, "This is where i always stay when i visit Bangkok. This hotel got it all and more. But one negativ thing: this is the only hotel (4-5 stars) who take money for internet, i have been to at least 9 other hotels in Thailand. This is not a cheap hotel and this should be free. But i love this place and i will be back next year."
Jay stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-04-09 and said, "Excellent resort experience in Bangkok. Ferry to sky train is pleasant experience but would become tiresome if you make more than a couple trips. Breakfast buffet is better than at more expensive hotels. Constantly pleasantly suprised by nice little touches (chilled towels, free massage by pool, welcome fruit) that did not expect at this price point."
Adi stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-04-08 and said, "Great Hotel! so beutiful, great swimming pool and rooms. Many resurants though expensive.not placed at the center but has great, free boat-shuttle service every 15 minutes. We stayed at the jr.suite which is great, but regular room is also fine."
Naomi stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-03-18 and said, "All previous reviews were correct. Tropical feel of the resort, cool towel and water on the way back from a hectic day of shopping was great! Food was expensive, service at the Trader Vics was EXTREMELY POOR. Took almost an hour to receive the entree, dishes fell to the floor twice and wrong food order was delivered to our table. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel!"
Karen stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-03-18 and said, "Was a bit disappointed to be honest. Room had two double beds joined when we asked for a king size. They were permanent in room so guess thats what you get if you ask for king size. Room was bit old for price. On the other hand breakfasts were nice. Good location and excellent free boat ride every 15min to Bangkok. Staff very friendly. There is a local shopping mall with very cheap food about 2minutes walk away and also has KFC, Sizzlers, Pizza Place etc for those who need a break from Thai food. Thai places in mall are great. Restaurant food expensive but has good variety. Recommend Thai Kitchen Cooking Class in Bangkok. Very handy with skytrain about 1min walk from pier. Also dental work VERY cheap and worth doing if you can squeeze in one day. (About 1/4 price of in NZ and good service-Silom Dental where we went and would recoommend them). Marriott is in great location. Was a bit overcrowded in pool etc for our liking but for big resort pretty good. Gym facilities pretty good too! And they were happy to let you use shower etc prior to late checkout."
Henrik stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-03-16 and said, "A tryly wonderful place in almost every respect! Big with lots of everything. Several good resturants. Nice garden, excellent big pool! Good ferry service to the Sky Train. Good roooms, although our AC broke down once. As a compensation we got a bigger room and a free buffet dinner, which was among the best food we ever had (and we have been around the world...). Lots of staff and very nice staff too, with good command of english. Not really anything to complain about except that we had to leave after four nights..."
John.Bridger stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-03-09 and said, "Wonderful hotel, assuming you are ok with european prices for everything. We got upgdraded to a junior suite and had nearly two days use of pool, restaurants, fitness club etc despite a one day stay - ideal place if you are checking out at 12.00 but not flying out of bangkok until the evening. Food buffets, facilities and service were all great. Worth splashing the extra out for 1-2 nights if you already budgetted for the 100 euro+ category."
Mr.Richard stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-03-01 and said, "A fantastic hotel with staff that treated all vistors like royality. The location is ideal for a relaxing stay and fine for visiting the sites as it is only 15 minutes by a free Marriott ferry to the centre. The Marriott dinner cruise is a must."
Tom stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-02-19 and said, "I and my family liked the Hotel very much. The breakfast was great. You could stay in this hotel for a week not leaving it at all, just laying at the pool sunbathing and swimming all day. Very good service."
Germann stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-02-15 and said, "Very excellent hotel: nice garden, good location, great breakfast, very professional and friendly staff. We will be back again !!!"
Mats stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2007-01-19 and said, "Very nice hotel, service and staff was great. Well worth the price which I don t consider that high compared to what one recieves here."

Craig stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-12-20 and said, "Excellent hotel, clean, confortable, excellent customer service cannot fault. Free ferry service very handy, nice welcome on return trip with cold water and face towels, just what you need after wandering the hectic streets of Bangkok."

Bob stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-11-09 and said, "What a great place to stay in Bangkok. Exceptionally clean, fantastic staff in all areas, We were situated in a corner high floor suite with sweeping views of the river & city by the extremely helpful checkin staff for no extra cost. Excellent eating establishments on site cater for all tastes and budgets. The dinner buffet is the best value meal in Bangkok!! Free boat shuttle every 15 mins. Maybe the pool is a bit small for a complex of this size...but who cares, the place is just brilliant.."
Ian stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-10-25 and said, "Excellent hotel, I stayed with my family and recommend it to others. Beware Bankok is very poluted and air quality poor. Sevice at hotel restaurants a bit too quick, at the Tapan Yaki restaurant a waiter was asking my daughter for her desert order while I was still eating my Main, and wanted to take my rice bowl away while I was still eating!! Chef did an excellent job though and we went back again for another meal. A Poolside waiter who spoke good English and dashed about organising others is excellent, any probs and he sorted it. Boat with cold water and towels good touch."
Sam stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-10-25 and said, "Beautiful hotel located right on the river. Spacious, elegantly decorated rooms with comfortable beds. Superior service throughout our stay. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Excellent restaurant choices. Convenient mall adjacent to the hotel for light bites. Really enjoyed the sunset cruise and barbecue dinner/Thai show included as part of our package. Only complaints: a shortage of pool chairs and kids club facilities/staff subpar to other resorts we ve stayed at. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to others."
Ruth stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-10-15 and said, "We had a wonderful stay on our way back to Aus from Europe. As we had a 12yr old with us, we upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Easy access across river on hotels boat to sky train every 15mins with return accompanied by a cold towel and bottled water. Just lovely!"
mornet stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-10-11 and said, "high class hotel, very nice location on the river, very nice staff, Marriott s ferry every 15 mn to skytrain station, great buffet breakfast, very nice room...everything was perfect...will come back definetly. highly recomanded."
John stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-09-22 and said, "Excellent choice. Quiet, relaxed setting, excellent staff and easily accessible to all Bangkok has to offer via the boat shuttle to the Skytrain."
E stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-09-03 and said, "Exellent Hotel, lovely pool area and great food.Staff were very efficient.Courtesy Boat over the river was also very handy and frequent.Would definitely stay there again."
RICHARD stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-08-29 and said, "This was our second visit to an excellent hotel where the service was as superb as on our last stay.Although situated a little out of town, the free shuttle boat service more than compensates and it is always a pleasure to return to the hotel and it s beautiful gardens which becomes an oasis from the hustle and traffic of Bangkok centre."
Mr. stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-08-20 and said, "What a gorgeous hotel - right from the avenue of lit palm trees at the entrance and the lovely Thai lady playing traditional music in the entrance lobby, through to the lushly landscaped pool area and the tasty breakfast buffet (complete with chocolate fountain!). The luxury even extended to the return shuttle boat when we were presented with ice cold towels and water after a busy and hot day sight-seeing. I would recommend this as an absolute must for a stay in Bangkok. Fabulous!"
Enrico stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-08-06 and said, "Excellent service as expected from a very high standard hotel. This was our second stay at the Marriott. Undoubtedly we will choose it again when back to Bangkok."
Mr/Mrs stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-07-21 and said, "Huge five star hotel with nice garden and poolarea. Situated by the river with free shuttle boat to skytrain, it takes 15 min by boat and then 3 min by skytrain to get to the shopping malls. We recommend you to try the Evening buffet for 1100 bath there where everything to choose from and all very good. We will recommend this to everyone traveling to Bangkok!"
S stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-07-16 and said, "Third time we stayed here. Will definitely return next time.Very very nice. In particular the interior/decoration is very very stylish. Not too modern, very thai, and with exceptional good ligthing etc. The food is very nice, and the cantonese restaurant is extremely good.Increasing popularity has unfortunately had a small effect on the pricing, and has also resulted in a far too busy breakfast area."
Denise stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-07-11 and said, "This was the second time we stayed at the this hotel and again our experience was not disappointing. First class hotel and great service. We stayed in a Junior suite which was well worth the additional expense. The location next to the river is a plus and ferry service punctual and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel, we would not stay anywhere else in Bangkok."
M. stayed at Bangkok Marriott Resort & Spa on 2006-06-16 and said, "Location of the hotel with 15 min. shuttle ferry connecting to Skytrain and local ferries is ideal, you are away from the business, smell & noise of Bangkok. The rooms were excellent, but we upgraded to a honeymoon suite that offered more than we needed (perhaps more suitable for long term stays). The restaurant were good but pricey, service is what may be expected of a Marriott in a big city: efficient but lacking personality. If you want to take brakfast inside, you may have to wait in line for your turn: it gets too busy. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it delivers what you expect of a Marriott"
