Kendra stayed at Aurum The River Place on 2008-05-29 and said, "EXCELLENT location! Great place, very clean, very small but perfect for a short stay in Bangkok. Close to everything. Downtown Bangkok. right on the river. Perfect breakfast. Nothing negative to say. Would stay here again for sure!"
Bob stayed at Aurum The River Place on 2008-05-22 and said, "There are both good and bad commentary on this hotel. The good is that the room I stayed in was very clean and nicely appointed with large rain shower head and marble lav. However the bad is that there is no staff to help with your bags, no bar or restaurant, and you are required to leave you key at the desk everytime you leave. Why this later picadillo of leaving key is so strictly enforced is bizarre to me. On top of that the hotel has only ten channels to pick from. Now in this day of electronics, satelites etc, why they don t have a large selection doesn t make sense. The hotel management needs to wake up and either charge less for their rooms or provide the sercies expected for a room that is in the 100 dollar per day range. I will never return"
Deborah stayed at Aurum The River Place on 2008-03-16 and said, "This was a lovely place to stay - right by the river, within easy walking distance of the Grand Palace and various Wats. The area was quiet at night. Breakfast out on the patio was pleasant. The staff were very helpul, friendly and professional. The room was very clean and comfortable - lots of marble. We definitely recomend it."
Chen stayed at Aurum The River Place on 2007-05-06 and said, "An exquisite and elegance little hotel sit on the right bank of Chaopraya River, right opposite to the Wat Arun, just a few minutes walk to the Grand Palace. Its location is in the real heart of Bangkok. The river view room is very clean and with great river view. Their stuff is very kind and helpful. The price is reasonable for its location, facilities and services. The only problem is,the hotel is so small that the breakfast is served in the garden of a nearly cafe. But I will definitely choice this hotel next time I go to Bangkok."
Elaine stayed at Aurum The River Place on 2007-03-06 and said, "This hotel is a hidden gem. It is the most fantastic location in Bangkok. It is close to boat transportation down the river, within walking distance to the Emerald Buddha and Pak Klong flower market. There is a wonderful cafe right on the river, where they serve breakfast and you can have a drink. Most importantly however, the staff was so helpful and accomodating. They arranged incredible private tours for us and had transporation to incredible spa called Sukhothai Wellness Center. All of this was more than we could have ever hoped for. We will look forward to staying at the Aurum again, it has our highest recommendation."
