Plaza Athenee, A Royal Meridien hotel

ROCHAIS said, "Excellent hotel. Good location 3 minutes walking distance from skytrain station. Room are large and confortable. The swimming pool area is very nice with beautifull garden and you can forget that you are in a 10 million person city. Buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner are absolutly perfect with thai and international food. Lot of choice and very good. An excellent choice to discover Bangkok. A quiet place in a noisy city"

Bijou said, "I was quite impressed by the size and finish of the rooms and the range of dishes served in the buffet. A very good experience"

Elizabeth said, "Excellent hotel- well worth paying extra to use the club level rooms. Only downside is the building work next to the pool area. Not noisy while we were there due to the holiday but not the restful oasis is once was when building restarts."

Elaine said, "Excellent position in the city centre, with the sky train station only minutes away. Hotel was lovely, although they had only smoking floor available they offered extra cleaning etc but this was not necessary as the floor/rooms did not smell of smoke. Rooms where very clean and new, bathroom very clean and spacious and provided everything you could need. Pool was big and the staff cleared towels on beds regularly allowing beds to become available. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of dishes. Security was good although personally I don t find this a problem in Bangkok. We had late check out until 2 pm then sat by the pool. Used the leisure centre facilities to shower etc before leaving for the airport which was great to leave feeling refreshed. Overall a good value for money hotel."

Doreen said, " was very pleased with the service, particularly in the Club Lounge. Further, we had breakfast on the ground floor, as there is more choices there. The breakfast here was nothing short of excellent, with so much variety, even chocolate milk! We were upgraded to a Corner Suite and it was also very good. Would definitely recommend this hotel as a top five star hotel."
