Bernard stayed at Old Phuket Hotel on 06/18/2006 and said,  "Very nice, old style hotel, right off the beach. The room was great, very nicely furished and the shower was outside in an enclosed patio. The ride from the airport was awaiting me as arranged. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definately stay there again. "

Anna stayed at Old Phuket Hotel on 03/12/2006 and said,  "The size of our room was good. But... that was the only thing wich was good. We didn´t get any hot water until a handy man fixed it after 1 hour, same every night. The staff in reception didn´t speak any english, only 10 words or something so we couldn´t understand eachother, they just smiled but didn´t understand us..:-( Wake up call did only work 2 of 10 times, one of the times was when we should go to airport so we almost missed our flight.. We couldn´t choose temperature at the aircondition, one temperature on all the time. So I can´t rekommend this hotel, sorry."

If you like a quiet location, then this is good for you. A good selection of restaurants and massage facilities close by with access to the beach just accross the street. 10 minute walk to the bars in Karon."

The pool area needs a little attention and is only of medium size, so if more than 20 people are there its crowded !"

But it is difficult to tell when booking online what type of bed you are getting. Even though all the pictures show big beds, we got two twin beds, which was a surprise. Also, this hotel is located at the end of a short street lined with predominantly Scandinavian restaurants and seems kind of isolated from other more populated areas. "
