Peter stayed at Hard Rock Hotel on 01/02/2006 and said, "Enjoyed the stay and the facilities are excellent too. Unfortunately some staff members were less than helpful. We were told we could have a free drink whilst waiting for our room which took 45 minutes to prepare for some reason. on check out the drinks appeared on our bill and we were told we had to pay as we had them at the wrong bar . No apologies and a disappointing end to our stay but the pool area and room were great. "
Roger stayed at Hard Rock Hotel on 07/31/2005 and said, "this hotel is good for family, there is a lot of fun there and the children will be safe there but too much formality. They don t allow to bring food or drink from outside to the hotel, the security is there to keep the eye on you when you carry plastic back to the hotel that make us uncomfortable, we didn t bring anything inside but the eyr that they look at you make us like what is this. And my sister in law come to visit me, she brought me the souvenir things [big plastic bag] they don t allow her in, they told her to phone my wife by her mobile to come and meet her at the entrance outside instead of contact the reseption for her to contact my wife , this is not very kind. My wife went to tell to the reception the answer is it is not thier responsibility, the security is not for hotel management. That was our experience. We went to stay many place in thailand everyplace is very helpful and kind not like this hotel security and the reception on that day. The other service is good very fast, team work. But we don t think we wil go back there to this hotel again. "
Timothy stayed at Hard Rock Hotel on 05/16/2005 and said, "This is lively and fun hotel in a top area of the strip.Excellent food and very high service standards. Great pool area and facilities. The staff were very friendly and effecient. Highly recommended "
Thao stayed at Hard Rock Hotel on 03/03/2005 and said, "First impression was when we arrived at the hotel at 2pm (correct check in time) we and many others to follow were waiting for our rooms for an hour. They did not have our rooms pre organised for the guest. It was quite disappointing as we were quite tired by this time. Then to top this off, we booked for a non smoking room. It was not available until another hour so that made it two hours wait, we decided to take the room in the smoking section due to the long wait we already experienced. The staff said the room didnt smell, but for people who dont smoke...do not ever stay in a smoking section! It rigged off cigarette smell. I could not stand it, and the room next to us were giving off cigarette smoke as they enjoy their puff in the room. It came through the doors as we had an interconnecting door betwen our rooms. Despite this, the staff at the pool bar and restaurants were fantastic. Hospitality that you would expect from Thai people. You also must experience the Dinner Buffet. Consisting of fresh delicious seafood that you pick out and are grilled for you. Many choices of food, the buffet was a good deal at 400baht. I do recommend this hotel, however, they need to fix their act on having rooms more organised. Because it isnt acceptable to make guest wait between 1 to 2 hours."
Pek stayed at Hard Rock Hotel on 09/27/2004 and said, "the interior of the entire building seems a little old and dated since a year ago when i went. Though the rooms are still nice with the gigantic blown up posters of famous celebrites, the feeling of refreshfulness and element of surprise seem to be missing. Perhaps even the showcases/ customes at hotel lobby should be changed periodically. "
