W. stayed at Amari Orchid Resort and Tower on 01/01/2006 and said,  "Amari Orchid Resort in Pattaya can only be recommended ! Nice and clean room. Good food and service at fair prices in restaurants. Most of all .... a very nice garden with a great pool and always sufficiant chairs (even that almost usual stupid ´chair reservations´were noticed every morning and nobody showed up all day !!). Pattaya itself proved to be a terrible place and beats every clichee ! The beach is small and ugly, PACKED with chairs and umbrellas and one almost has to accept body contact with other people if you want to sit there. The city is packed with girlie-bars and old western guys enjoying young Thai girls company. So better forget Pattaya and go to any of the islands !! .... and if you are forced to stay there like us, go to Amari Orchid Hotel and avoid by all means the beach and the city !"

Lynn stayed at Amari Orchid Resort and Tower on 04/26/2005 and said,  "The hotel was in a great location for us, located at the north end of Pattaya. Room was nice and comfortable. Front desk staff were very helpful. Our room was not quite ready when we checked in, so we were given a key to another room, so we could relax and wait. They helped us arranged a golf outing and let us try out a room with high speed internet(would have worked nicely except our computer refused to cooperate)! Breakfast buffet was interesting and fairly extensive. Service at the restaurant/pool area was great. Several construction projects are underway(a new hotel wing next to the pool and a separate restaurant closer to the street), some noise from machinery can be heard while relaxing at the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return to this hotel."

Colin stayed at Amari Orchid Resort and Tower on 10/16/2004 and said,  "I think generally its very good, i have stayed at many hotels in Pattaya in pretty well all price ranges - i thought Amari was better than Montien and although not as plush more welcoming than Dusit but like everything could be improved. Best Features - excellent swimming pool , very nice well kept garden, for a busy resort very quiet but spoilt a little by some building work. Pool bar staff very pleasant and good fun. Very relaxed. Breakfast was quite good Generally staff very friendly Bad Points 4 floors but no lift ! so try to get on a lower floor but rooms on lower floor looked very small. Stay away from the rooms on the road side of the builiding - they are noisier. Room service slow and didnt always come to collect tray same day."

Mr. stayed at Amari Orchid Resort and Tower on 06/24/2004 and said,  "This is my 2nd time at the Amari Orchid Resort, this time with my family. The hotel offers great service, nice breakfast buffet, relaxing environment within the hotel expansive garden and pool area, and easy access to the quiet north Pattaya beach area."

Ideally located for the travellers who likes to be within walking distance off many shops, restaurants and pubs but which is only a few minutes taxi ride away from the very busy area of South and Central Pattaya.Would recommend the Delux rooms which has a great view of the pool and gardens."
