Tony stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 05/30/2006 and said,  "Nice resort at the nice flat beach, especially for a family. We booked a family room with a bunk-bed (2adults+2kids). The room is spacious enough. The hotel staffs are friendly. The facilities are great. During low season the beach is quite rough, but the wave is not too big, still can play at the beach. The beach is still relatively clear and clean. Will stay there again."

Kjell stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 02/25/2006 and said,  "Beautiful resort right in front of the beautiful beach Klong Dao. Its shallow, so the water is nice and warm. Helpful and friendly staff. The bungalows is spacious and look really good in its thai-style. The outdoor areas in the resort is very well kept, with green grass and a nice wooden pathway from the reception, between the bungalows and all the way down to the beach. This is not in the city, but more like a light jungle, so if you are scared of small harmless lizards and other insects, this is not the place to be.(My insect-fobic girlfriend had no problems. ;-)) The pool-area is great, with a nice jacussi-area. There was almost a competition to get a sunbed, so get up early for breakfast and bring your beachtowel to reserve your sunbed. :-) Maybe they could get some more? We had a fantastic ten days at this resort, and would definetly recommend it to other travelers!"

Fam.Stephanie stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 01/04/2006 and said,  "We thought at first that the place was too quiet and full of swedish people. After a little while, we enjoyed the beautiful garden, the pool and the proximity of the sea. It was easy to find good and rather cheap food on the beach, and the village offered some possibilities for a good dinner out. No so many thai people around, mainly tourists, but very relaxing and confortable."

Chris stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 01/04/2006 and said,  "This is a great hotel. I would love to return some time soon. The executive room we had was very spaceous,clean,and well appointed. The staff are nice and service oriented. The gardens are some of the best you will find on Ko Lanta, and the pool area is nice. The Resort has a charming Thai atmosphere with some effort to add traditional Thai charm. It has a great position on a terrific beach with access to tours, other food places and close to the jetty."

Mr.Tim stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 12/30/2005 and said,  "Great family 4* hotel based on Klong Doa beach. Stayed in the mountain view suite which is well worth the upgrade if you can strech to it."

Mr stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 12/26/2005 and said,  "Very Nice,excelent service, friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and good space. Great breakfast buffet. The children,age of 9 and 12, did highly enjoy both pool areas. The compulsary gala dinner at new year, was over our expectations. We will stay there again next time we visit Koh Lanta."

Helen stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 04/07/2005 and said,  "Amazing hotel, the rooms are beautiful thai villas, the resort is fabulously done, it s the nicest hotel I ve ever stayed in. The staff were brilliant,I had left some paintings there and I flew to Bangkok, the staff had them flown to me next day free of charge. It s very peaceful, very quiet at the moment due to the lack of tourism. Very clean, good food, the best iced coffee i ve ever had from their coffee shop which is very good, they do sandwiches and pastries better than we get anywhere- not something you associate with thailand. The bar staff, spa staff and resteraunt staff are equally as nice as reception. I can t thank them enough. And the air-con is very effective. The swimming pool is also beautiful, a five star resort in my eyes!"

Per stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 10/01/2004 and said,  "The room was OK. Nothing to complain about. We went there to find quiet and peace. Got more of it than we wanted. Maybe the wrong time of the year."

Mr.Stephen stayed at Royal Lanta Resort & Spa on 09/06/2004 and said,  "Royal Lanta was a good place for a short stay as it get a little to bored as the beach wasn t too clean. The airport transfer, pickup and ferry journey seem to be a little out of control where there were no fixed ferry schedule which made it very difficult to predict the travel time from Royal Lanta to Airport on the departure day. We almost miss our flight back home. I would like to comment that the Reception and the Restaurant staff were very friendly and approachable. I would like specially to comment on one staff from the restaurant that had done a wonderful act of kindness by making a copy of songs/music CD just for my wife which we really appreciate."
