Marco stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 04/25/2006 and said,  "The hotel was o.k., but his best times are over. The pictures on the webpage are very well photographed :-) Next time I d would rather stay in a hotel more comfortable."
Patrik stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 04/05/2006 and said,  "Nice, relaxing place! We enjoyed our stay very much, nice location and bech, great pool and cheap and good restaurant. If you book 1st row, be sure to get Bugalow 114, 115 116 or 117. 111 to 113 are poolside, also not that romatic. Would definitely recommend this hotel."
Mr.Gunnel stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 02/06/2006 and said,  "Sorry, but we was disappointed about the bungalow. The electric was something wrong with the earth connection. The electric comes and go for long time, AC was very noisy and we have cockroach in the bungalow. Beacuse the staf was muslim, my partner miss bacon fpr breakfast. We will not book this any more."
Vincent stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 01/04/2006 and said,  "Friendly staff, a good restaurant and access to a range of trips and activities made this a very enjoyable 10-day stay. The staff do a classy fire-show every week with fire-sticks, poi etc. Rooms are clean and comfortable - similar facilities in all rooms so the ones in the two back rows are good value. There is still a local feel here though the area is becoming more developed (there s a new 5-star resort next door, but it has been well done and is unobtrusive from the beach - it s worth dining there just for the experience, with a main course costing only around 400 baht, but the wine is ultra expensive). It s not really a swimming beach here so you re more likely to be in or around the pool or off doing elephant treks etc. The 3-island trip to Phi Phi and Bamboo Island was great, particularly if you like snorkelling. If you are looking for somewhere very quiet with few other people around you should head either to the far south of Ko Lanta or else to islands much further south. If you want sterile luxury then there are plenty of sterile resorts to choose from, or if you want the party scene then go to somewhere over-crowded like Phi Phi and join everyone else walking up and down the streets all day. Lanta Palace is pleasant, low-key, unpretentious and affordable with good food and easy access to as many or as few activities as you want. We would certainly be happy to go back there."
Ari stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 12/18/2005 and said,  "Location in the middle of Koh Lanta makes it easy to go around the island. Good restaurant with very friendly staff and good house keeping made our stay enjoyable. If you want a nice view, then book to beach front as there is not much space between the bungalow rows. I would not recommend to put restaurant bills to room account as the staff does not check bungalow numbers on keys, so due to language problems there can be missunderstandings and incorrect billing. If you however want to use room account, then keep book on what you have used every day and check all the receipts while checking out. Pool is available for those who do not like to swim in the sea, also during the low tide there are a lot of rocks visible. The beach is nice and calm with massage services available. These guys can do good fire shows in the evenings. Restaurant prices were higher than in other places but food was worth of price paid. Room prices included breakfast (good selection of choices from the menu)."
Mr.Debasish stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 11/30/2005 and said,  "A beautiful resort with everyone smiling always. Little improvement in understanding English is required. I would definitely return."
Rebecca stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 11/15/2004 and said,  "Didn t know what we had gotten ourselves into at first - travelling there by 4X4 truck over dirt roads at night was a bit worrying. beautiful weather turned on the next day to show us a gorgous resort right on the beach. very friendly staff who like to joke around with you and help in anyway possible. comfy room with the fridge didnt work and to get hot water in the shower you have to reach up and hold a button down the entire time - very ackward. nice restuarant next to gorgous pool. excellent place to relax at. would stay again."
Anneth stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 11/13/2004 and said,  "We became och very good service and liked Lanta Palace Resort very much. Very comfortable bungalows, a clean och beautiful swimmingpool och a staff who took very good care of the guests. We can really recomand Lanta Palace Resort. The bad thing was about Koh Lanta which became like a big workingplace where they built new resorts and hotels everywhere. VERY bad and dirty ways and we needed four-wheels-drive for all transports. The beautiful and genuin Koh Lanta are going to disapear and thatīs a shame. "
Erik stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 11/03/2004 and said,  "Nice area with pool, bar and restaurant. Very friendly staff. There is a very large hotel-construction going on close to this hotel. This will go on for a long time. They are working from morning to late night."
Tony stayed at Lanta Palace Resort & Beach Club on 10/24/2004 and said,  "Great place with extremely friendly staff. The staff is what makes this place so special. It s on a beach that s not so great at low tide (rocks sticking out of the water), but perfect at high tide. Compared to the rest of the island, these bungalows and the rest of the property compare very well with the competition. Sitting on the beach, you have a clear view of north to south with nothing obstucting your view - perfect for sunsets. The restaurant is great and there are at least two very good others, Blue Moon Cafe (we suggest the Barracuda with Port Wine and peppersteak with mashed potatoes) and Otto s Bar and Grill heading southward on the beach within a 10-20 minute walk. There is also a quiet village, Ban Khlong Nin just south of here as well that has just about everything you need so that you don t have to head back up north into town. Beachfront bungalows face right onto the ocean with little to block the view. The pool is nice. Overall, this place is quiet (except for the construction next door - however, construction is inescapable on the quickly developing island) and very safe. It s not super fancy, but yet is quite good. We re thinking of coming back next year for holiday."
