zakaria stayed at Bay View Resort on 07/21/2006 and said,  "The hotel did a good job for first timers upon arrival. They had a dude waiting with a bayview sign. Once we got to him, he lugged us all on a boat and brought us to the hotel, saved us the 15 minute walk from the pier to the hotel. Good Job! On the hotel facilities, well, its just ok, aircon and hot water wasnt so reliable, and they could do with more buggies to shuttle the guests...rooms were far up the hill at times..the beach front was nice, its at the end of phi phi,but if you cross some rocks, you ll get to long beach,nicer:-) Staff were couteous, but were not always at hand when u need them, i mean, the reservation table can be empty at times Food or breakfast at the restaurant, was pretty fair at best..other then that, it was a cool place..a short walk from hippie bar and a nice thai pancake...overall i give it a 3 out of 5"
Zhubenhao stayed at Bay View Resort on 06/15/2006 and said,  "Great hotel, excellent sea view from the room, very nice and helpful staff. 15-20 minutes walking to the pier, quiet and also easy to find restaurant, travel agency and any other facilities. I think the Grand Delux room is much better than other rooms and there is more beautiful view at the first row. If I will go to PhiPhi again, i will also select this hotel"
David stayed at Bay View Resort on 05/31/2006 and said,  "Enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms, friendly staff, good inclusive breakfast, beautiful view of bay from porch. Very peaceful and quiet since it is a little outside the main town. Only about a 5 to 10 minute walk to town on the fantastic clean beach. Beach is a 2 minute walk from room and is beautiful and perfect for swimming. Swimming pool is also nice. Hotel restaurant is next to beach so you get awesome bay views and good food. Had superior villa and only complaint is the bathroom. Water facet is kind of yellow at first then becomes salty (maybe an island thing). Shower has no curtain so water gets everywhere on bathroom floor. Weak water pressure on shower. Overall, would reccommend staying."
Thierry stayed at Bay View Resort on 05/21/2006 and said,  "Nice Bungalow on top of Hill with some access to beach directly and 1 swimming pool, but as Phi Phi has been destroyed it is difficult to access this hotel by the main street, arrived by ferry transfer by longtail boat, better to do it by day,, and after mini golf car, not really powerfull, a 2nd man has to push it to go through the hill, breakfast was far to be the best on the 5 hotels I have visited in Thailand, better to be located on main street to avoid to walk in beach by night when returning from restaurant in the centre"
HERRERA stayed at Bay View Resort on 03/23/2006 and said,  "Ko Phi Phi is a very nice place to stay. The bungalow we ve got at the Bay View Resort was rather confortable except some details like 15 minutes to wait hot water in the shower, dirty balcony cause of the birds. The see behind the hotel is rather dirty and it s better to go walking - only 10 minutes - to long beach with dream and clear water. Take care of the price asked by the taxis boats rather expansive for a little trip. "
David stayed at Bay View Resort on 02/16/2006 and said,  "We loved this place. Beautiful setting. Accommodation in the delux bungalow was of a good standard, though the bathroom was a bit primitive - when having a shower everything in the room was drenched. It would seem to be a simple solution to install a shower curtain."
Ying stayed at Bay View Resort on 01/27/2006 and said,  "The staffs are not very enthusiastic for no one showed us to the room and helped for carrying the luggages. The resort is quite big, it s not easy for a stranger to find the room. And the shower water was salt. The electricity would be cut during the afternoon. The air condition was noisy. The biggest problem was that the resort was quite far from the pier!"
Rachel stayed at Bay View Resort on 01/24/2006 and said,  "The room - cabin was very good, with a great balcony. We were in the second row, so we had the beautiful view with the lower houses in sight. We could have changed to get the even more beautiful view, and paid some more. Of course the water in the shower is not good quality, this is a small island and not the mainland with water resources. I appreciate the fact that they can supply water at all to so many hotels. The only thing that bothered me is that the room was tilted - the front poles apparently sunk, and I felt insecure walking in the room (217). There was always a hotel car taking luggage, and people if they asked for it, the signs to find the rooms were very clear, on the rooms and on the paths. The staff was always friendly, of course since people arrive in groups in the longtail boats, if you have a question you have to approach them when they are not busy with a whole group. The restaurant is very good. After we tried some others, we prefered it. We were definitely the oldest people in Koh Phi Phi, everybody there were like our children and granchildren, and we ll be back. We already learned that if you want to be on a hill, you have to go uphill."
sally stayed at Bay View Resort on 01/18/2006 and said,  "Couldnt find our reservation. Manager very unhelpful wanted me to pay to go on to his internet to print out reservation form. Bad attitude but room was superb. Long walk up to room and breakfast on the beach was fantastic. If anyone books through internet please print out your reservation before going to Phi Phi"
Vivien stayed at Bay View Resort on 12/17/2004 and said,  "Overpriced due to high season. For the price I paid, I got less than what I had expected. Bungalows were basic. The water from tap and shower were disturbingly salty and yellow-tinged. Bungalows were rather old, though reasonably clean. Breakfast was a turn-off, with flies hovering over food that looked like they ve been left out too long. Customer service was okay, except that we witnessed an elderly man being shouted at by a lady reception staff who told him, Stop telling me your problems!! Can t you see I m on the phone?? That said, the view was excellent (sea view with big patio) and the resort was secluded, away from the main shopping & eating area of Phi Phi, if thats what you re looking for. Not a good choice if you want to be in the centre of all the action at PP. "
