Gro stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 07/08/2006 and said, "This resort is truly amazing and one of the best and most beautifull places I have stayed in Thailand. The atmosphere was very relaxing - almost meditative and the cottages were very chaming and thoughtfully blended into the nature with their wooden floors, walls - the beautifull bathromms a wellcomming sanctuary after a day snorkling or diving at corals with plenty of fish. Service and personel were outstanding, smiling and helpfull disregarding the time of day. In the morning a news paper was waiting on the veranda, at midday tea and biscets were served at your cottage (for free), your bed were made twice - with flower pellets! As I have heard from others absolutely the best place on Koh Tao. On top of everything they adored our kids and babysat the youngest. In june the water just outside the resort was shallow but we walked 10 min. to Jansom bay where fish and corals were plenty. To swim back to Sensi can be recommended as there is an interesting wreck just outside Sensi (which is also easy to reach from Sensi s own beach later in the day when the water were less shallow). Otherwise take a walk to the nearby Sairee beach or rent a long tail boat to take you around the island. There is excellent snorkling and diving, all around, but Sensi is the best place to stay. Calm, serene and friendly and yet it takes only 2 min. to walk into the city where you can enjoy some shopping, great Thaifood and fantastic pancakes. We will most certainly be back."
Andrew stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 07/04/2006 and said, "Our 2nd time at the resort (this time for 3 weeks) and one of the best I have stayed in over the years. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful, the food is great and the whole ambience is superb. It is our 25th wedding anniversary in 2007 and God willing, we will be going there for another great few weeks."
Christina stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 06/06/2006 and said, "We booked for 2 nights but extended another night because the place was very relaxing. The service was great and the rooms were very nice. It s a wonderful place to stay for a romantic escape. Highly recommended for couples!"
Elizabeth stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 05/30/2006 and said, "We checked into SENSI and were given a room farthest from the lobby. We hiked up a hill with no path. Our bungalo room was fairly nice, ignoring our bad location, but beware no hot water and small creatures.
We ended up deciding to leave the resort after only a few hours, not liking the location of the hotel, our room and the unclean water with the pier so close. We tried to check out early, but the staff insisted we pay for the rest of our reservation. They fought us for an hour for more money, and despite their lack of reservation cancelation policy, we paid them for 2 nights in order to leave. We were VERY upset with the SENSI customer service and staff. They were not accomodating and very unhelpful. I was disappointed by the resort staff, location and high prices. I would not recommend this resort and would stay on the other side of Koh Tao. I don t want anyone else to have to have the same bad experience."
Amanda stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 05/06/2006 and said, "Gorgeous, gorgeous resort! The bungalow was charming, the balcony and view beautiful. I had the best time here....."
Gavin stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 03/10/2006 and said, "Located within 5 minutes walk of the town centre, we really enjoyed Sensi. All rooms have a minibar and we had an simple fan room with cold water. The room had a comfortable bed with mozzy net above. The resort itself caters for all budgets so therefore even though we were in a cheap room we had service and facilities that were 5 star. There are places to relax and rest whilst the sea laps the shore just in front of you. The resort is at the extreme southern end of the beach. The restaurant is laughably cheap and there is no point in going elsewhere as sitting there you have the best view in town surrounded by palms trees and granite rocks with the sea right next to the restaurant. Trust me when I say that we had 5 nights but never wanted to leave.
The staff were superb - Wae from Burma was just so sweet and couldn t stop smiling and helping. There is free us of snorkelling gear which is great as the water just off the resort has a WWII shipwreck which is just below the surface. It was one of the highlights of my holiday to snorkel above this.
I could not fault Sensi at all - for the price it is fantastic."
Robert stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 03/01/2006 and said, "Wonderfull Surroundings.Very Nice Bungalows with Space on veranda. The food werw fantastic. We took B.L.T Sandwich for our Teen agers.who was visting us for 2 days, even for breakfast. The pizza..WoW.And the very nice personal, both in restaurant and in hotell generally.Next time we will take Bungalow with AC.In march its really hot.The Crickets were loud but only in daytime. This place is wonderful. Close to Centrum, still very secluded.A little private beach with the Restaurant 1 minute away.I say like Arnold Schwarzenegger ...I ll be back..Robert and Maria Lagerhem,Sweden with Charlie and John. Book it."
Bernt stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 02/19/2006 and said, "A very nice hotel area, relaxing and exotic with outdoor resturant and open lobby/bar area.
But seafront bungalows are much smaller than advertised, maxium half size, and are very dark. Not good. Choose another category and with AC.
The beach is not so good, but close to ferries and village centre with shopping etc. Relax, sleep and eat there but go with a boat to other beaches for swimming.
We recommend the hotel tour around the island with the hotelboat. The best excursion we did during all 3 weeks in Thailand! Fantastic snorcling, private boast, goodlunch on deck. Pay he few baths extra compared to the grouptours found downtown."
Andrew stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 01/29/2006 and said, "My wife & I stayed at the Sensi for five nights on our honeymoon. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was great. The room was beautiful and cleaned thoroughly every day. It is very hard to fault this resort. The massages were VERY intense - more of an exorcism than relaxation! We had trouble finding the shipwreck. It didnt matter - we had a brilliant time, and all the staff waved us goodbye as we zoomed off on our departing ferry... a great memory indeed."
Bente stayed at Sensi Paradise Beach Resort on 01/20/2006 and said, "We stayed at the Sensi Paradise 3 nights in January 2006 and can highly recommend to other travellers. The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. Beautifull restaurant right beside the sea with reasonable prices. A quiet resort with good standard."
