David stayed at Lamai Inn on 06/07/2006 and said,  "Great location next to beach(1 to 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to center of town). Quiet, clean, and decent rooms. Receptionist was not so friendly but helpful. We requested a non-smoking and the room we were given smelled like smoke and they were able to give us another room which was smoke free, however it was a little small compared to the last room. Bed seemed fine at first but I woke up with the worst lower back pain I ve ever felt. No complaints with bathroom. A/C worked great and was remote controlled. Safety boxes available at front desk. Beach was beautiful and perfect for swimming. Hotel does not offer any beach towels though and has no lounge chairs on the beach. There were also some good restaurants next door that have seating on the beach which was great. "

Easy reach to lami beach there is a short walk up the road to the town centre which is very dark"
