E.M. stayed at Baan Rom Mai on 04/29/2006 and said,  "In general a good low budget hotel. You can t expect much as you are not paying a lot. The beach is not far, but if you want a nice beach you have to walk longer than five or ten minutes. The size of the biggest villa is o.k., there is enough space for the suitcases as there is a kitchen, which we used as shoe and storage room. The bathroom is small and has an open shower without a shower curtain. If you don t care about a wet toilet and having to move out the toilet paper and towels before you use the shower...The rooms are clean and in general quiet. Positive is also that the villas are not too close constructed. We were o.k. until one morning they started construction work and digged out the ground with the plants for a long drainage ditch without any notice. As we didn t want to spend our holidays on a construction area, we moved out earlier. It s not fair of the hotel management not to mention the construction work in their homepage as other hotels do. When they have finished their construction work in some weeks, I can recommend the hotel for people who don t expect much and who want to rent a motorbike to explore the whole island, for people who don t spend every day at the beach. If the beach is very important you should look for another hotel at the beach for more or less the same price. "

Rheeta stayed at Baan Rom Mai on 04/16/2006 and said,  "Hotel was very good and very close the the Sami airport which was great for the early flights. taxi s into the main shops was frequent and cheap, otherwise a 10 minute walk. The food in the restaurant was very drab in comparision to the rest of Thailand. The rooms were vry very clean and the service from the staff was also good. Am happy to stay there again. i recommend you not use the reservation taxi service as the prices are way over the top. (even though they say you are getting a good deal)"

Daniel stayed at Baan Rom Mai on 04/12/2006 and said,  "Very nice hotel in quiet surroundings. The location of the hotel is OK, just 5 minutes by foot to the beach or the centre of Chaweng. The personnel at the hotel was very kind and helpful. We can recommend other to stay on this hotel!"

Quite far away from center and even it s only 200 meters away from beach you have to walk 2 km to southwards to reach better swimming place. As I said, clean, friendly and quiet place, but little bit far away. I stayed two nights and was pleased :)"

Mr stayed at Baan Rom Mai on 03/10/2006 and said,  "For the price the room was small compared to what I d been getting used to in Thailand.Otherwise no real complaints. Staff were polite and done their best to be helpful"

V. stayed at Baan Rom Mai on 02/25/2006 and said,  "We stayed one night at Baan Rom Mai. Expect a very simple hotel, but fairly nice. Across the road and behind other buildings from the beach, but an easy walk to the beach and town. Our air-conditioner did not work at first and then was very weak; it took six hours to cool the room down enough to be comfortable. The front desk did not seem to be concerned, and did not follow-up until the morning."

Every Day fresh Towels and the Staff clean the Room daily, very Polite and Friendly and a Good Thai Food in his own Restaurant 1+ Locatet on the Nord of Chaweng Beach accros the Road you arrive the Beach within 5 min by walk. A quiet Village ( dependet from the other Guest ) and near the Chaweng Center( 3 Min by Taxi ) I Book my next Vacaution again in this Resort is very OK. Sorry for my terrible English I am a German "
