Gary stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 07/24/2006 and said,  "Nice standard of accomodation, good size rooms with everything as new. Beach easliy accessed from all parts of resort and breakfast was OK if you want western food as I do but little or no Thai food. Ist night tried resorts evening meal and the steak (me) and Thai food my wife didnt make 4/10 My wife found out a new chef was being trained so we were the experiment!!!(also dont try the coffee as everywhere in Thailand the locals need coffe making lessons) Staff very accomodationg and managed to get an early check in. My Thai wife was disapointed with last morning breakfast as finally some Thai food was put out but was only available to 4 resort management officals who had arrived for breakfast The food had been put out with our buffet breakfast but when she went to get some was rudely refused. I wonder if I would have had the same refusal!! Being our last day i didnt want to complain, and just another show of the class thing Thais are used to but they would be advised to better bring out special food for management from the kitchen rather than put out with our food!!!!! Later the waitress returned and said my wife could have some of the Thai food but she had been offended so politely said no. For return to airport negiotiate with Tax1 at street is best as we got tax1 for 200bht . I think about double that if you use hotel to arrange."
Craig stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 07/01/2006 and said,  "This hotel was perfect.Best part of the beach, close to all the shops and restaurants.A good sized pool, especially for family s with small kid s.The hotel restaurant had plenty to offer as well as the breakfast buffet which was very nice. All hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times.I would highly recommend this hotel.Cheers Craig & Kerin Simmons."
Philip stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/25/2006 and said,  "This Hotel was a little gem ! The room was very clean and set amongst beautiful well tended gardens. The hotel sits on a really good beach and the hotel employ a man to clean their portion of the beach which incidentally is Jet bike free (Cordoned by off by floats). The hotel is located close to all the main attractions of the resort such as the Green Mango Club yet is tucked away from all the noise. There is construction either side but it does not intrude in any way and no noise or dust etc. affects guests. The Hotel regularly fumigates against mosquito s and also if conditions merit they place coils under the tables of the restaurant to repell the mosquito s. It is on the flight path but the frequency of over flights is sparse. The planes seem quiet enough and there are no night flights. If you want a plastic over the top Gin Palace, this is not the Hotel for you. I liked the place."
RUGGITI stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/25/2006 and said,  "Very godd resort in an excellent location, right in the center of everythings, although very quiet. It is in the best part of Chaweng Beach. Romms are clean and spacious, lovely located in a beatiful garden. The restaurant too, is wonderful, with good food and breackfast buffet. An excellent place to stay. Strongly recommended."
Per stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/23/2006 and said,  "Very good and well maintained hotel. Good value for the money. Location perfect for shopping etc. No noise from the street and good beach but a little bit crowded. No complaints from our side. If coming back to Koh Koh Samui will stay at this hotel again."
Celia stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/15/2006 and said,  "Grat value for they money! I loved the beach! Nice water although the seadoos tend to be noisy. Great massages! The ladies are just so nice! Our room was next to the renovations but it really didn t bother us. Was a bit dissapointed with no bathtup, and never felt hot water, but on the other hand our room was spacious and well cleaned. Nice basket of fruit. Just too bad you can t leave the airconditioning on when you leave your room. I loved the restaurant, best fillet I had in Thailand. The Thai food is absolutley wonderful. The location is just wonderful if you like to be close to the shopping and bars and restaurants, and the best part is that you can t hear anything from the hotel. I would absolutley recomend this hotel. Celia & Rolando"
Jim stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/12/2006 and said,  "The hotel was fantastic, the setting spectacular, the people were wonderful. The beach was great, tasty breakfast, overall a great find."
Sonny stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/10/2006 and said,  "We all (3 children) enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Location very good with open sea and a pool. In the heart of restaurants and shops and without disturbance. Garden full of green plants and trees. One problem was the extremely hard beds."
Gilad stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 06/06/2006 and said,  "This resort is by far one of the best values for the money in Chaweng. Large, clean rooms, with all the basic ammenities one would want, plus some extra unexpected nice touches (like fresh fruit in your room upon your arrival, and two free bottles of water every day). One of the best, if not best locations in Chaweng - beautiful, clean swimming beach during the day, and right in the middle of all the craziness of Chaweng Road at night(although the resort is tucked away far enough from the main road, so that you do not hear any of the noise at all). Staff and service were excellent at every level, the hotel s restaurant had top-notch Thai food (I did not try the western food, so I can not comment on it), and the resort had a nice mix of some young families with kids, young couples, and singles. Please be aware that there is currently construction on both sides of the resort, but this never seemed to be a problem. The pool also looked very nice, although I never used it as the beach was so perfect. Had such a good experience at the resort, that I came back again after doing some travelling around the other islands. I would whole-heartedly reccomend this resort to anyone looking for a great, centrally-located, 3 star facility in Chaweng."
Mrs stayed at Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa on 05/30/2006 and said,  "Having stayed at Baan Chaweng last year our expectations were high. And to our delight the resort met them to the last detail. Very friendly staff, many of whom we knew since our last stay, excellent breakfast, nicely furnished and tidy bungalow and room. Reception staff well informed about excursions etc. We ended up extending our stay until the 9th. And we brought back quite a pack of broschures to distribute among friends. Definitely a place we can recommend highly, with a superb location in the middle of Chaweng beach (just at the southern end of the reef)."
