Gert stayed at The River Kwai Jungle Rafts on 07/07/2006 and said,  "We had ordered pagage tour number NC302 - 3 days at River Kwai with one night stay at River Kwai Jungle Rafts and one night at River Kwai Resotel. The Jungle Rafts was a fascinating experience completely close to the river and the jungle. As we knew there was no electricity, but it was very impressive with oil-lamps int he evening. The menu was thai-food, but our fussy teenage daughter got special treatment with european food. Very good service. At the Resotel the conditions were luxury. The rooms were very good and the suroundings were impressive like a botanical garden. At both places there was a fine service (luggage, arrival, information etc.) and everything was unexceptionable."

We had a two year old with us so had to keep a very close eye on her as this floatel is not designed for young kids!! The staff were great and it was a highlight of our Thailand trip. If you can cope without hot water and air-con for a couple of days then this is a must do ."

Although there was no electricity, it was a modern world luxury that we didn t mind or miss. The laterns provided at night really set the scene and made the location more romantic. Service and food was great, very friendly staff. This is a place that we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience something a little different, where relaxing is your main aim. We only stayed for 1 night as we did the two day, 1 night tour, however would have loved to stay an extra night."

The rooms were marvellous, especially as there s no electricity! Absolutely brilliant holiday and we will be recommending it to all our friends. We would like to come back at some time. The Resotel was really super. Really lovely and helpful staff. Excellent food and accomodation. Well done!!!!"

Peter stayed at The River Kwai Jungle Rafts on 01/11/2006 and said,  "An excellent trip with very attentive staff. Would certainly go back. The only bad point of the whole experience was the journey back to our Bangkok hotel where we arrived at 7.30 not 6.00. This was not only due to bad traffic. After decanting from the main coach we were then on a minibus with three other hotels. Two close to where we stayed in Silom and the Marriot. Those of you familiar with Bangkok will know it s not near any of the others. So the Marriot drop of was just before 6.00 then the rest of us at c7.30pm. Shame really as it had been such a good tri-p."

Connie stayed at The River Kwai Jungle Rafts on 12/26/2005 and said,  "great boat ride to transfer to the Raft. magical experience... although no electricity but the gas lamps did add to the atmosphere... got woke up by the sound of flowing river... amazing... the swim in the river and other visits were amazing as well... I am not sure if I wanted to do this again but this definitely was a great experience... highly recommended"

Katharine stayed at The River Kwai Jungle Rafts on 08/15/2005 and said,  "wonderful. reached by Long-tailed boat, marvellous setting, friendly and helpful staff (Mon people, from local village). food good and plentiful. swinging on hammock on a raft on the River with no sound other than cicadas - great! Would have liked less if all rooms had been fully booked as no escaping from others! I found the heat oppressive at night (no electricity for fans etc.) but husband had no problesm."
