Karin stayed at Royal Mekong Nongkhai Hotel on 03/04/2005 - said: It is always a cultural event booking a hotel in a province town in Thail - . Noone speaks English, it is a real Thai scene. I like it. the huge hotel has a very good location, when you come by car.we arrived from Udon Thani - we planned to travel from Nongkai to Chong Khan.It is a good hotel for one or two nights, clean,a comfortable bed (better at the bed at Oriental Bangkok...)There is a pool just a few metres from the Mekong beach... It is not nice, nor it is romantic, only a practical hotel with a friendly staff. It is a cultural event at breakfast being the only foreigners, too. Karin from Switzerl - "
