Big room , very good cleaing. Only th restaurant was not good. We will came back, if we come to Hua Hin again. Highly recommand."
Steve stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 11/12/2005 and said, "We were disappointed initially at the close proximity of the bungalows to each other and the large condo immediately next door. However we were soon enjoying the relaxing atmosphere and the good food in the restaurant. There didn t appear to be anyone in overall charge and we felt the young waiters, although very pleasant, could benefit for more training. The swimming pool was lovely and while there were adequate sun loungers the addition of cushions would have made them more comfortable! The spa facilities looked really good but unfortunately we couldn t take advantage due to a liberal covering of mosquito bites on the first day. However, having said all that we would certainly return. "
Torhild stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 10/21/2005 and said, "Nice bungalows in a nice garden.Friendly and helpfull staff in the reception and the housekeeping was very good with flowers on the bed every day.The staff in the restaurant did not know anything about service. They where young lads more busy speaking to each-other rahter than serving the guests, and their very poor english led to a lot of misunderstandings.
The poolarea was small and there was no shadow either from the parasolls or trees. Because of the tide the beach was only there a few hours per day."
Mr.Richard stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 09/19/2005 and said, "My wife and I were very pleased with our stay and Kaban Tamor. We found the premises to be very well kept and the beach location very convenient and pleasant. The cabana-rooms were great and the grounds beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to respond to any request we had.
We would definately recommend this hotel."
Mr.Horst-Dieter stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 08/12/2005 and said, "Had an extended weekend at Kaban Tamor chalets. Nicely located at the beach, well maintained garden n beach side pool.
Recommend to stay in 2nd floor of a chalet due to sea view and better privacy. Will come again."
Jan stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 03/26/2005 and said, "We had a very nice time during our stay at Kaban Tamor Resort. The location at the Takaib beach Hua Hin is great. You have the sea just a few stairs down. We had a bungalow with seaview (109)and that was great.
The resort is quiet and there are a lot of familys and couples staying there.
Good points; friendly and nice staff from the reception to the housemaid. Very good and romantic! cleaning of the bungalows. The resort is well keept and the garden is beautiful. The pool is small but okey. In the evenings the lights and the sound from the garden makes it a bit romantic. The breakfast is okey althoug nothing special, this goes for the food as well. The treatment at the SPA is good. Car service to Hua Hin fine.
To develop for the management; staff in the restaurant are to young, they must be more alert and have a better view over the area for exampel the breakfast table. They are very friendly but that isnīt good enough.
If we go back to Hua Hin again we would propably stay at Kaban Tamor again, a bit expensive but good value for money.
Recommended!"
Lee stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 12/17/2004 and said, "Great experience. An intimate, relaxed and well-kept retreat away from the big hotels and yet close enough to the town. Friendly and helpful staff that are responsive and provide some nice touches, including flowers in the room and tasteful garden lights and candles for the evening. The food is wonderful and has a nice variety of Thai and western, especially for a boutique resort... the orange chicken was a delightful surprise find. The spa was worth paying the higher-than-average Thai prices and provides a romatanic, comfortable and professional experience. Room for improvement: a heated pool would be nice for the winter time and the beds could be a little softer."
Johan stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 12/13/2004 and said, "S mor Spa is truly a nice place to stay at. My congratulations to the managers for finding such pleasant staff as well as designing such nice cottages. S mor and its staff are true pearls in the Hua Hin area. "
Dirk stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 11/21/2004 and said, "We had a good stay at the hotel. The Service was good. However in terms of value for money we thought the place is overpriced at roughly 70 EUR a night. The breakfast was only mediocre and it is basically impossible to be in the bungalows without having the curtains in front of the windows as people can look into the bungalows from basically every side."
Lynn stayed at S`mor Spa Village & Kaban Tamor Resort on 11/14/2004 and said, "GOOD POINTS:
Lovely spa bungalow room - Simple but with a luxury feel. It was was very clean and the maid service is very good.
The gardens are maintained very nicely.
LOW POINTS:
Very poor service in the restaurant. It is mainly staffed by young lads with no idea of good service.
The breakfast is buffet style and on the average side.
The Spa prices about 6-10 times Thai hightsteeet prices which is offputting.
Overall the resort is nice. There is a big hotel very close to the boundary fence next door which is a shame. They had some noisy building work going on during our visit.
The beach is a disapointment as the sea is a bit dirty and the tide is only out for a short time anyway."
