Clayton stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 02/06/2006 and said,  "Very nice hotel in a good location, the rooms are a bit dated but they are very spacious. "
Sean stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 12/21/2005 and said,  "I really can t say a bad thing about this hotel. Oh yes the lifts...blah blah blah..yes they are slow and yes when it s busy they are a pain, get over it. Great location, nice rooms, good services, nice buffett, and close to the night market. I loved Chiang Mai, please evrybody go up there, it s a great town. Great food and all. "
Henrik stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 12/13/2005 and said,  "Great bathroom, great breakfast, the swimmingpool didn t have sun until the afternoon.Staff was very good, always correct and polite.Right in the heart of chiang mai perfect location. If we go to chiang mai again no doubt that we stay here again. "
Paul stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 12/02/2005 and said,  "Clean, efficient and courteous service from the hotel and staff. Check in and check out was done with minimum of fuss and without undue delay. Communcation with front desk staff was excellent and friendly. Housekeeping was satisfactory and bell boys were polite and efficient. Few negative points, among which were the really slow elevator/lift; food at coffee house at dinner time lacked inspiration (the khao pad was pathetic); bathroom lacked a hand bidet which is standard equipment for most 4* hotels; no tea making facilities in the deluxe room, this is disappointing because the time taken in lift to reach coffee house and elsewhere is so slow, having a cuppa can be a chore. Overall 7.5 points out of ten. Hope the hotel will strive for a more excellent rating."
Lynn stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 08/15/2005 and said,  "This is the third time we have stayed in this hotel. An excellent location, a short walk to the night bazaar. Beautiful lobby, spacious restaurant (first-class buffet breakfast) and a fantastic swimming pool. The staff are efficient and friendly. We will definitely stay there again."
BERNARD stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 07/29/2005 and said,  "Hotel is large and sad, ot very well maintened. I was very disappointed and prefer IMPERIAL MAE PING hotel. I had a voucher (4 people) to stay 3 nights in 2 bedrooms DEULXE EXECUTIVE. As I have to be one day earlier in CHIANG MAI I got a second voucher for 2 people in 1 bedroom for 1 night. Despite the fact I sent mail and explain things 3 times nobody seemed to understand and when I asked to speak to the manager the phone was hanged down by the man in reception. I shall make an official claim to the General Manager of CENTRAL HOTEL GROUP for the nightmare we have to endure. "
Heijmans stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 06/19/2005 and said,  "The location is good / the service also/ but the amminities they PROMISE are note available (like bathrobe, slippers and (as they promote on every room standard)coffee-and tea facilities !!! I will NOT visit this hotel next time. "
Lynne stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 02/15/2005 and said,  "The Duangtawan was not what we had expected and hoped for in Chiang Mai. The room was drab and the workmanship revealed a quick completion with paint on the wood trim and many other conditions that did not impress. It took forever to get into an elevator. One positive aspect was the breakfast meal... very good! For the price we paid one would at least expect to be able to boil water for coffee but this was reserved for a more superior rate... how basic and rediculous. I asked a friend and discovered that the hotel had in fact completed construction rather unexspectantly fast after sitting unfinished for a long period due to some uncertain complications like financing. "
Law stayed at Central Duangtawan Hotel on 11/25/2004 and said,  "I have stay 3 nights in this newly built hotel in the central Chiang Mai town area (next to Imperial Mae Ping hotel)...I was told this hotel just opened for about 4 months ago (July 2004 !) and no wonder cannot find the hotel location in the local map. Anyway I went there for the loy krathon festivals and almost all hotels are fully booked during this period. Generally, the room/bed is very clean as the hotel is very new. Location is superb as it is near to Night plaza, Pantib plaza (Electronics mart) and the morning market. Hotel staffs are very polite and helpful. The hotel has a good swimming pool and fitness club. The only constraint that I face is the elevator is too slow and will take some time to get to the floor if there are too many guests around. Some even has to take the stairs as they have been waiting for too long to get in. Breakfast is normal but there are some reasonable seafood/good food just opposite the hotel and along MacDonald stretch of road. There are lots of sourvenirs stalls that open in the night right infront of the hotel. If you like shopping, you will have to take a tuk-tuk (30-50 TBH) to Central shopping mall at the airport. At Chiang Mai, remember to taste the Kantoke dinner and participate in some of the day trips will be nice. Transfer from the airport to your hotel can be booked upon arrival at airport for about 100 TBH for a car and takes about 15 mins to reach the town area. Return trip to airport can be arranged at your hotel for 80 TBH per person. Given another chance to visit Chiang Mai, I will consider staying at this hotel again. Regards."
