Frank stayed at Lampang River Lodge on 02/23/2006 and said, "The setting of the hotel is very nice:
lush gardens, swimming pool, the sun set restaurant etc.!
Unfortunately the service spoils some of these impressions:
at 7 pm we wanted a thai massage but not enough masseuses were available (when else do they think guests want a massage then in the evening), they had to call them in!
Then, the restaurant closes at 9 pm, but it was about to close already at 8:30 so we had kind of to demand to be served!
What is left to do in this remote spot except sitting in your room and listen to the voices of nature ?!?!
Breakfast was put away at 8.30 am!
Again we had to go through some attidude till we got served.
So I would still recommend this place if your program makes it necessary to stay in Lampang and you are into some nature setting for your hotel!
I hope till then the management has realized, that a remote hotel has a little bit more responsibility what to offer their guests!"
Murray stayed at Lampang River Lodge on 01/26/2006 and said, "The hotel was great! The cottages were very comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. It s a little far from town so you have to be willing to travel by Songdow if you want to go into Lampang. We would dfinitly stay here again."
Daniela stayed at Lampang River Lodge on 12/20/2005 and said, "If you don t want to loose your life, don t follow the offside road from Chiang Rai to Thaton, as indicated on the hotel description! Hotel is not bad for the price but the breakfast is pretty poor. However dinner is excellent. "
Christian stayed at Lampang River Lodge on 11/20/2004 and said, "Very nice location, good service and a fríendly staff. The rooms are great also the facilties. If you are not scared by moscitos a good place to stay and relax"
