Mr stayed at Rama Gardens Hotel on 07/26/2006 and said,  "Convenient for airport, used by lots of aircrew.OK for a one night stop over, but not for a longer stay. A fairly typical, impersonal, airport hotel feel to the place. I stayed on two occasions in different rooms on the top floor.Both rooms had mould on the bedroom walls. Other than that the rooms were OK.The hotel is situated in large gardens and there is a large swimming pool. These are not particularly peaceful, being under the flight path for planes taking off. There is a choice of restaurants on the ground floor of the hotel, but the service is not all that hot. The buffet breakfast is good. There is a complimentary shuttle service into Bangkok to a couple of central shopping plazas. This hotel is adequate for a one night stay, but not recommended as a base for exploring Bangkok. A few minutes longer in a taxi will take you to much nicer places closer to the centre of the city."

Overall it is a good hotel for the value and easy travel to the airport. "

Generally the noise from planes taking off was minimal,and the food was great. The only suggestion I have for the hotel is that they offer complimentary shuttle services to and from the hotel and airport as a request for pick-up costs 400 baht, which is quite pricey for the distance travelled."
