The location is great, especially now that it has an air-conditioned Platinum wholesale shopping complex right beside it. The facilities are great with excellent massage centre within its hotel and others around it. The room is spacious with panoramic view of the surrounding. However, the only thing that we were disappointed with would be the poorly maintained carpet and amenities in the room. "

For the German travellers: Ein typisches Stadthotel direkt an der Petchburi Road mit ihren 7 Spuren. 50 Meter zur nagelneuen Fashion Mall und zur Panthip Plaza. Dort finden sich auch 7Eleven, Essensstände und internationale Fastfoodketten. Über die Straße beginnt der Pratunam Textilmarkt. Der Bayoke Sky Tower ist in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß erreicht. Ebenso World Center Plaza, Isetan, Big C, Gaysorn. Um mal eben mit dem Skytrain zu fahren ist es allerdings relativ weit zu den Stationen. Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Service und guter Sauberkeit (keine Kakis etc.!). Es erstreckt sich über mehr als 20 Etagen. Zwei Restaurants, Bar, Lobby, Outdoor-Swimmingpool, Massage-Zentrum (sehr empfehlenswert!), Fitness, Wellness etc.. Sicherlich hat das Hotel schon einige Jahre hinter sich, es ist allerdings sehr gut gepflegt und die Ausstattung auf der Höhe der Zeit. Das Haus ist voll klimatisiert, wobei die Temperaturen immer angenehm waren. Einige Taxifahrer kannten das Haus leider nicht. Nachdem aber etliche bekannte Gebäude in der Nähe sind, war das nie ein Problem. Im Preis eingeschlossen waren die Nutzung des Pools und ein gigantisches Frühstücksbuffet. Dieses ist jedoch sehr international ausgelegt, sodass der deutsche Geschmack recht kurz kommt. Die Suiten der untersten Preisklasse sind sehr groß mit Sofa, Stereoanlage, Fax, Küchenzeile, großem Bad mit Wanne und separater Dusche. Z.T. sind allerdings die Gebrauchsspuren der Jahre am Teppich zu erkennen. Kaffeezubereiter ist vorhanden, die in Thailand gängigen SAT-TV-Programme ebenfalls, 2 Klimaanlagen - ohne Verbindung zu anderen Zimmern - die zwar nicht störend waren, aber doch etwas leiser sein könnten. Die Scheiben bestehen landestypisch aus lediglich einer Glasscheibe, sodass man Hupen o.ä. doch mal durchhört. Safe ist vorhanden, die Tür lässt sich ordentlich verriegeln. Das Bett war sehr gut. Der Fernseher steht als Raumteiler zwischen Sofa und Bett und lässt sich hin- und herdrehen. Eine Gräuschbelästigung durch Nachbarn hatten wir nicht. Es gibt Nichtraucheretagen. Wir hatten vor unserer Rundreise hier 5 Tage gebucht und dann vor Ort (wieder über Internet) am Schluss noch 2 Tage. Wir würden sofort wieder in dem Hotel buchen."
