Linda stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 07/15/2006 and said, "Small hotel tuck away from the main road. Great location though - walking distance to a good number of places. Can forget about hotel services & food. Good for overnigt/budget stay."
James stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 10/16/2005 and said, "Value for money, did not expect too much on the service for the amount paid, but reasonably clean room and bath room facilities. Hotel location is great! you can find anything within walking distance."
Daniel stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 08/07/2005 and said, "Not Very Impressed, looks nice when you arrive, clean reception area, shame our room was so grubby, the ceiling was supposed to be white but it was covered in black mould, the carpet in the suit was dirty.
Also tried ordering room service, they could not understand English so I went down to the resturant to get it myself, and they insisted on charging me room service even though I had to get it myself. I Will Not Be Back"
Don stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 03/01/2005 and said, "Hotel was well located for shopping, markets, etc., but a little inconvenient for the Grand Palace, etc. Still, good value for money, attractive rooms, good service staff, located in a quite soi."
David stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 11/24/2004 and said, "Hotel was alright given the rate paid as we don t expect 4 star service but at least a complain is about the staff who doesn t seem to provide adequate simple service, like asking for simple hot water every day from their coffeeshop --as I was travelling with 3 children--, not forgetting that I only found 1 or 2 staff among the whoe crew that could speak some decent English... Perhaps Thai Hotels shld look seriously into improving their HR skills such as simple foreign language.
I travel to many countries in the region but at least in other neighboring countries, one could find local staff speaking some decent English but not quite in Thailand, even in 4 or 5 stars hotels..."
Toh stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 11/10/2004 and said, "The hotel room is clean but small. There s no writing materials and tissue papers. The staffs are friendly but not informative. "
Norman stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 08/26/2004 and said, "Thanks for the opportunity to make my comments.
I stayed 4 nights at this convenient location, right in the City, next to Big C and opposite the World Trade Center. The adventurers can even take a river taxi, literally a stones throw away, only do it off peak times.
The receptionist were not very friendly, did not see the smiles I was so accustomed to in other Hotels I stayed in BKK.
Did not realise I could not smoke in the Lobby and was guided unceremonsly to the door. Signs was not put up. Only no smoking signs in the restaurant.
My flight was at 6pm. Check-out time is as in most Hotels 12 noon. I asked for an extension to 2 pm and after debate was given 1/2 hr. grace. Normally the reception will check the Bookings and if not busy will agree. No compromise and no offer of , say, we can look after your bags till you are ready to depart.
Somehow I feel the Reception needs training and does not give me the impression that they are doing me a favour by allowing me to stay in BKK City INN.
Breakfast well below par.
Locality I emphasise is real good, but The Land of Smiles is not there.
Yes, , they do not have Tourist maps. I cannot understand this. The Thai Tourism is so generous with these maps at other hotels.
Reg. Norman WEE stayed 26th. to 30 th. Aug 04"
Dr stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 03/24/2004 and said, "A very convenient location,a clean and comfortable a comfortable hotel. I was completely at home. Staff were very friendly and I would certaibnly like to stay for my next visit."
Garry stayed at Bangkok City Inn. on 01/15/2004 and said, "pleasant hotel with a great location"
