S. stayed at Amari Watergate Hotel on 05/04/2005 and said,  "This hotel is big, clean and the staff friendly/helpful. The location is ideal - very central and great for market shopping just seconds away. The hotel is on a main busy road but you cannot really avoid this in central Bangkok. Once inside hotel you would not know. The standard room was large but could do with a refresher. The room had no special feel to it and was basic, but clean and well equipped. The pool and gym were above average. Buffet breakfast was average but variety was good. Wouldnt rush back there but OK hotel."
